Heart Hopeful Wednesday~

Good Morning all~ It is raining outside, but we sure was needing it. It is suppose to rain all day and again tomorrow. I decided I would get something done today. Been cleaning the house & it sure is looking better.

This is or Wedding Anniversity, but for once,I am not going to let it get me down. It would have been 48 years. This has been 2 years without him and it doesn't get any better. I have figured I will just have to look at things different. We had almost 47 good years and not everybody can say that.

Barbara, let us know how Doug is. I think of you all the time.

Well I must get at it again. I hope you all have a good day! May God bless you.

47 years of marriage is a rare thing these days.

Cherish that specialness and the warm memories of the time that you had together. I'm sure it has left a huge emptiness with him gone.
Warm hugs for you today.
Jo

Heart Thanks Jo~

It liked 2 months being 47 years, but we dated another 2 1/2 years before that. The emptyness is more than I can explain. If his family would only call once and a while it would help, but they don't at all. I don't have any family except cousins and they are scattered everywhere.

The only advised I can give is, go and make good memories with your mate, for someday it may be all you got.
Love,
Billie

Billie,

Hugs to you my friend. We both are lonely now. Doug passed away last night. Even though I knew it was coming it still put me in shock at 1st and now I'm kind of stunned. Hugs to both of us.

Default Oh Barb~

Barbara, I really feel for you. I can say in my case, I did ok for a while, but then the emptyness really set in & I can't seem to get over it. I do volunteer work just to put in my time at something worth while. It does seen to help in my case. If you aren't ok with doing it, don't push yourself tho. What works for one doesn't always work for another. I'm here if you just want to talk to someone.

Hugs,
Billie
