Default Are we getting discombobulated?

Is discombobulated even a word? I couldn't think of another word. The brain doesn't work so good these days. But what I mean is, are we all coming apart? Maybe going separate ways for other things? Or, like me, either being sick or catching up from being sick and just forgetting to join my good friends here?

I'm just sorry that I haven't done my part to keep a Roll Call going every morning or even checking in during the afternoon. There are so many things on my mind and I often think of getting on but once I sit at the computer, other things catch my attention. Argh! Pain meds makes a person so, so, well, so discombobulated !!!!
And my body will just not give me more than 2 days without severe fibro and/or neuropathy pain. And to tell you the truth, the old diet is taking a back seat to simply surviving.

So I will try harder to check in daily and if I miss a day, I'm really sorry.

HOPE YOU ALL ARE DOING WELL AND THAT YOU ARE HAVING WONDERFUL FALL DAYS ~~~

I think it's a guilt thing with me Nancy...I love to cook, love to have people over for a meal....if I'm not planning a meal with my nose in a cookbook, I'm checking out a new restaurant. I must have that "Jewish Mother" thing in me because it's always about food....eat, here eat you'll feel better. ~sigh

That doesn't make me a bad person, just an overweight one. *grin

But I could pop in and say hello because I think about you all everyday..I'm just not a good example for a Weight Loss Support forum. I am faithful about getting exercise...and that works up a good appetite.

I'm sorry about your pain...that has to take such a toll and be a front and center priority. Yes, the leaves are beautiful and will need to be dealt with one of these days.

Heart Hi You all~

My reason for not checking in everyday is I am cleaning out my garage at the present time. I am also going thru some serious issues with my son. I have been depressed a lot and not sure what to do.

If you will be honest, you know I start a lot of threads. It is a litttle hurtful if hardly know one comes and checks in. It takes all of us to keep this going. I am not mad, just busy right now.
Take care,
Billie

I'm guilty of putting my weight plan on the back shelf too.
I have been trying to be more active and we have been doing a lot of winter clean up around here.
it's amazing how quickly our weather changed from late summer to "bam!" fall!
By the end of today Mt Hood will have 24" of the first seasons snow on it, nearly a month ahead of the average snow time.

I'm here....I check in when I can.
Work is driving my crazy. In about a week my contract work ends and I am a little nervous about that. Part of me thinks its a sure thing I will be hired permanently but the other part of me feels that being out 4 times in the past 3 months and other issues may have everyone think twice about my tenure. So I am keeping my nose to the grindstone so I don't get let go.
The diet is going okay.....just gotta be good at home...work is fine, but McDonalds is just so temping.

Default It's no ones "fault"

My point is, that in order for something "good" to stay that way, some small effort on the part of those who enjoy this must be made. Otherwise, things will just slowly shut down and we will loose something that was enjoyable and important.

Billie - I am sorry to have let you down on some of the days you started Roll Call. I understand how that would hurt. (And, if you need to get some of your personal stuff off your mind, you have my e-mail addy. I have huge issues with my youngest, you know. I live in constant fear that he will do something to himself. It's draining, some days.)

Jo - Fall always seems to pounce upon us. It's those darn leaves you have to get up before the snow flies. I think all animals, including us, need to put on their winter weight to protect themselves :-) As far as loosing it, just keep on trying, that's all you can do.

Wendy - Sure do miss you, honey. But, I'll be crossing all fingers and toes (ouch on the toes) for you to get on permanently!

Take care all,
Nancy

Hi Nancy, I love your honesty and caring! Think maybe you need to be ellected "head cheerleader"!

I haven't been much good at the forum thing at all from the beginning. I want to particapate but get bogged down by being worn out or in pain and if that is not going on it seems there is always something with the adult kids. My son is having a hard time too and we can't help with more money without going under ourselves. I wonder does it ever end and will they ever learn to stand on their own 2 feet? Been cleaning my house, that is, when I am not going to docs...saw 54 & a hand therapist in 2 days.
I have gained again and now weigh 226, weighed 200 back in April. Eating my head off and can't seem to stop??
Somewhere inside this big fluffy body is a skinny person and the only way she can get out is if someone cuts off all the fat! LOL Hugs
