Well...I am a little teed off at the weatherman today! He told me...and looked right at me in my livingroom from the TV, that it was going to be a beautiful weekend here! That was just yesterday! WRONG! Two....yes two thuderstorms have passed over us in the last few hours! I guess that is his idea of a nice weekend! The thought had crossed our minds to take off yesterday for the weekend to go camping!!! Glad we decided agains't it!! Honey is having a nap....I am just a wee bit bored but I love being here so I think I will go for a cruise around Neurotalk! Have a dry one ladies!!!

I do get too heavy with the paint sometimes and try to rush thru it and end up washing it off and starting over.
I need to read the wetness of the paper better , or use a hairdryer if I don't want to wait LOL
I like painting outside on the patio so i can fling the paint around without getting it on the walls like I seem to do in the house LOL

I slept last night, I slept last night! The last time I slept like that was in July, while we were vacationing in Oregon. I feel like fog has been lifted. My right leg and foot still hurts but when I've had sleep, I can cope better.

Jo and Curious - Oh how I wish you were living close to me. I have always wanted to see if I could paint. I think it would be calming - is it?

Dorrie - I have RLS also. Do you take anything for it? I couldn't handle the meds designed for it so my doctor put me on 1/2 mil. of xanax at night. Just a small amount to keep it at bay and it takes care of most of it but some nights it goes crazy and I just give up and get up. It's a crazy thing.

Alffe - you will have to report in about the success of your rummage sale later! I bet you are very tired.

Gotta run and take the load out of the dryer.

Jo, I like your paintings too! If I could just do something like that. I always wanted to be an artist, but I am not blessed with talent.

It seems like I seen some of Curious paintings when she showed us pic's of her house. ( the one she sold.) I'm sure she does good work too!

I'll have to check out that post to see what they said. Maybe I can find something to switch out the xanax for as it is terribly addicting. I'm glad my dose is so small.

it is nancy. i have fun with it. the more i didn't try to be perfect, the better i became. i love to paint murals.

it's fun to try. you can even use food coloring and water to make "paint". or just doodle with a pencil first and add some color. trace a picture you like to get the hang of it.
