This is my second time up in pain this morning. I didn't even go to bed. My lay back chair is better for pain, and I am living with a heat pad once again. I have had second degree burns twice from using it. I'm down to 2 or 3 pain pills. They do work tho, except I don't know if my GP will let me have them. Otherwise, I have to drive a long distance to my specialist. I'm trying to keep from going to see him, until I can't stand it any longer. I think I am probably full of scar tissue again. It just comes back. Does any of you have this problem?

I have got to put this off, for I have a small vacation planned the first week of November and its paid for. Enough about me, hows everybody doing this morning? I hope to go to church for I have missed the last two weeks.

I'm going to church and after services the congregation will have a chance at the remains of the rummage sale before we pack it up for a Good Will pick up.

I don't have a $$ figure yet Nancy but thanks for asking. I think for a church our size (very small) we did very well.

I also hope to get the lawn cut this afternoon before leaving town.

Alffe...I LOVE sales!! Our church does the rummage sale too. Afterward the things are free for the taking as well! Ain't it fun! I love garage sales too although I do not get to too many.... That is why my old job was fun at times..it was in a thrift store!! You gals have a super day...check in with ya later!!

I had kind of a crazy night last night. I spilled a water bottle all over myself and the bed at about 1:00. So that was a real wake up call. After everyone settled back down from that, it was ok. It seemed dry when I got up just now so I hope that's the case.

Billie - I have a scar tissue problem as well. I think it's out of control in my feet. You take care and be careful.

I appreciate your prayers. I was able to go to Sunday School & Church. The standing didn't help my back though. I think I will make a appointment with my GP tomorrow. I never sleep well anymore, so therefore my blood pressure is high. My Diastolic was 112 this morning, meaning not enough rest. My big problem is I have to wait so long to get in.

I like garage sales too! I too, don't go to very many because of standing & living in a house trailer. I am limited to how much I can buy. I want my dolls tho and will give up other things just to have room for them. I work at a place twice a month that is like Goodwill. Thats what I like about it.

Many of the newer heating pads will turn off automatically after 30 minutes or so.
We got one for my daughter from the PT place, TheraTherm. It's nice moist heating pad, but I still use my infrared one for my TOS /achy upperback stuff.
I see they are cheaper online than what we paid, but it was a billing/ins/clinic situation.

I went to a quilt festival today with a girl friend of mine, we got poured on without umbrellas...stopped at chillis for desert only for dinner...we had fun!

I cheated today.....Hubby fell asleep early and I settled into a crime show...........even though I was watching TV ......boredom set in!I get the munchies so bad sometimes. I love cereal and I never seem to have just one bowl....a couple works better for me! That was not it though...I was craving something really sweet....2 waffles later...with syrup! (I am diabetic too) Sometimes I feel like I cannot stop.....I am happy....I love my life....so why can't it be more important to me to stop the unhealthy eating....especially with the diabetes!!!!!!!!!! Baffling?!
