We've enjoyed our visit with Mike's daughter, Michelle. She came down to look at UNLV's Dental School and was very impressed. That's great news for us.
Make good things happen today!!!! Love, Nancy |

good morning all,
need to get going...very lazy today..... Just ordered the turkey for thanksgiving..... A turducken. Deboned turkey with a duck and a chicken the turkey is on the outside. Between the layers are differnet kinds of stuffing, Alligator, crawfish and cornbread sausage stuffing....it is then sewn up and looks like a turkey, the legs and wings are left in tact. I have never had one but felt this would be perfect to try since my parents are coming for thanksgiving this year. Sounds delicous and very cajun! bizi

Happy hump day. trying to eat healthier the last few days. My son grilled chicken last night and we had spinach and rice with it. Still not able to exercise but can turn my head a little bit more. Lots of pain still but I am managing.
Bizi that is the wildest thing I have ever heard of. A turkey and a duck and a chicken. You wild and crazy cajun woman. Let us know how it tastes ok Everyone else have a great day...Sue

I just got back from seeing the nurse Pratctioner. She had to go and see my DR. but they approved of the pain drug I wanted. Yesterday, they called in a script of Ultram and I itched all night, so I just got 2 1/2 hours of sleep again. I'm shocked that they let me have what I wanted. Praise the Lord! maybe I can sleep tonight.
Bizi, I never heard of a Bird like that! I hope you like it. Our temps bottemed out last night. I think it got up to 60 degrees today. It droped 15 over night and is suppose to stay that way. I like it after all the heat we've had, but need a jacket now. Hugs, Billie

Sounds delicous and very cajun! bizi" Bizi - You get the award for the Most Courageous Chef. Not only have you never made one yourself, you've never eaten one! I think that is wonderfully adventurous! :-) Also, 16 lbs. should be plenty - that's 2 lbs. per person and the turkey is boneless. Plus I assume you will go crazy making side dishes and desserts. Luv ya; Nancy |
