Everybody up!! Went to Praise Service last night so am skipping church this morning. Have company coming for dinner tonight...need to clean and get working on the dessert.

I raked some leaves yesterday and that was fun...for awhile. We were so suprised when we went to Bloominton last week (south of us) that their leaves were all still green...not usually the case, must be the drought they've had. It's usually a beautiful drive down route 37 this time of year.

Got to get off here and get to work! Have a great day or at the very least, a decent one!

Getting ready to go to the festival acadiens here....
worked in the yard only an hour yesterday and am sore from that today...boy am I out of shape!
and it is official...I got on the scales and yes I have gained back all of the weight that I lost last year.

LOL nancy. i lived in mn for 4 yrs. my x is from there an di have TONS of family there. i found a brand new nfl vikings coat at goodwill for 2 bucks last year for grandmonkey. my son had a fit. he is a born cowboys fan.

got some errands to do today. blech. in the move...some how a whole big bag of my good hangers got lost. so i have to buy hangers. i will miss my good ones. can't afford to replace them. but...weirdo me...will keep my closets color coded no matter what.

rub it in alffe...your leaves are going to turn beautiful...me and vicky...we will be lucky if the leaves even turn brown before they fall. totally funky raking up green leaves. they get mushy.

Hey everyone! Hope your day has been nice. I left hubby and kids at home this afternoon and drove to the stores....I love just looking around....did not buy much but enjoyed myself!

WE had a great time at the festival acadiens today.
great food, new orleans style hot sausage sandwich, fried catfish with crawfish stew on top, a pastry with crawfish dressing in it that was really tasty!
dancing (yes we danced a bit, waltzes, and many great louisiana artists in booths selling their items.
what fun.
must run and take a quick shower...between the dust today from the festival and me pulling up 5 foot huge elephant ear plants, barrels full...they were scarey big!. I need one....now!
