How is the day so far for you?
WE went to a costume halloween party last night and had a lot of fun!
People were very nice.
Jeff went as a spider web covered in green webbing and then had this huge spider on him wrapped around his body!
it was great!
...actually I guess I was a combination of costumes..vampire cape, dead gal face and pointed witches hat with orange hair...lol
what fun!
hubby is out running erands getting the house all decorated...he is making a fog machine chiller...something to let the fog stay low...???
anyway
I was able to spend some time with my girl friend and her baby yesterday...baby ended up chewing on the orange peel and burning her little face....I never thought about that when I handed her the orange...she has 4 little teeth.

Why are we rolling up Sunday? I hope you take pictures of your house all decorated..I look forward to that every year.

It was Stewardship Sunday at church and we fed everyone afterwards so my back is "talking" to me again. It's awful to stand in one spot so long.

And the bakery mispelled Stewardship on the cake...LOL but no one seemed to notice.

It's beautiful here today but will be cold again tonight. I pulled up all my tomato plants and their stakes...took a few green ones to fry.

Hey All! Hope everyone had a good day!

we're out enjoying the nice weather

This has been a day when ole memories flood up. Went to church this morning and decided to go to my parents grave's and put new flowers on. The town I grew up in has changed so much. I use to have a lot of family there, all dead now. O'le memories just flooded up. Our class just had a reunion there & I told them I wouldn't be coming. I just can't bare to have more old school memories too. I hope I get over this sad stuff before long, but it seens to be about the same. Bob has been dead now 15 months. All my friends have husbands and families, & I don't handle this as good as I want to. Oh well, tomorrow is another day. Have a good evening!

Hi all,

Been in bed with my poor feet blazing pain. Had a great day yesterday and I knew I was overdoing but didn't care cause it is so seldom that I have a decent day. We had our semi-annual garage sale here in our development yesterday and we made over $160.00. Then we had an old friend over in the afternoon to watch football and he stayed for dinner. He is a high school friend of my husbands so he is about 60 yrs. old. His wife died of leukemia (sp) shortly after she had their baby, who was born missing 1/2 of a chromosome. She is mentally disabled and is now 17 and has required a lot of attention. Then, he met someone, she moved in and 5 months later died from cancer. He recently married a younger woman and the marriage only lasted 2 months. He needed the company of an old friend and good talks over dinner. So, what I am trying to say is that his visit is worth the pain today and one does not have to look too far to find someone who is hurting more than you are. I often have to remind myself of that.
