Hows everyone today? I'm still not feeling to good, but better than yesterday. One of our neighbors had a heart attack and died yesterday afternoon. He was only about 50 and had kids still in school. His parents just live across the street from me. It was a big shock to folks around here. It will be hard with the holidays coming up.

The weather looks to be nice with the sun out, and not real cold. We are suppose to have some rain the next 3 days tho. I got to get my winter coat out of the garage. finally found it, where I have things stored.

We're having a bit of a wind event today

It seems to hit so much harder when a loss like that happens near the Holidays.

I had an uncle that passed on a Christmas - no warning signs to his family at all.

Good Afternoon all;

You know how it is when you can go forever without seeing anyone and then "bam" you get lots of company. That's kind of happening to us. Over the week-end I had the pleasure of seeing an old work friend that I had not seen in 7 years! Really had fun talking about all the people and old times. Tomorrow, hubby's 2 sisters and 1 brother-in-law are coming to the warm desert until Saturday. Right after Thanksgiving, another friend is coming down. When it rains, it pours. I just hope that most of these days will be "good pain days" and not the kind that put me in bed.

Billie - How sad for that family! I had an uncle that went the same way at about the same age and left 7 children!

Yes, it will be sad for the family. They had no warning. The man himself called 911. It will be a ruff year with Thanksgiving & Christmas coming up.
