Thanks to all who gave me such wonderful ideas to support my friend. I was able to send her a message that I think was very appropriate and she was grateful. I hope now he will go quickly but one son will not be back until this week-end. As I believe that those dying like this can wait for the right moment, he may hang on until his son gets there Friday. In any case, thank you all sooooo very much. This friend is very special and has helped me through a lot of stuff.

Dear Gaye - We have a lot in common. My brain isn't so great anymore either. And the pain from the neuropathy in my feet has forced me into changing my life. So I know it feels really crappy to be physically challenged with a dull brain from the meds to help the body. It's hard, really hard. But we still have a life to lead and share with those who love us. Some days I'm crabby and some days I still cry but I'm still around.
