I'm starting this in the wee hours of the morning. Could not sleep thinking about Doug who passed in Sept.

Anyway, my brother out of town is in town now and should be coming to my house in about 12 hours.

...from all those crazy retailers! My idea of fun is NOT shopping with a bunch of crazy women (and men). My idea of fun is sleeping in, which I am going to do right now. I just wanted to apologize for being absent from here for the past few days. Lotz of things going on. Life should now settle down a bit. Will write more later.

I'm not going shopping either, but do have to work for hospice later this morning. It's cold here and may get some snow flurries. I'm not ready for winter! Hope you all have a nice day.

what a beautiful picture! I just love Christmas trees. I like to see how people decorate theirs. We got a new one when they closed out last year's fake trees. It's skinny and tall. We'll see if it works in the space that we have.

Maybe some of you remember how distraught I was over my youngest son's behavior. Well, hubby invited him to Thanksgiving dinner and he came. It went pretty well. He was trying to do everything right. It was a step in the right direction for all of us.

This isn't my tree. Mine is a small white one. I live in a trailer and don't have room for a nice one like this. I have never had one this nice. I do like mine and it is good enough for my critters and me. I put it up a week ago just because I like lights and the thoughts of Christmas. I don't have but a few to buy for either. The picture is from photo bucket.

I do buy for my dog & cats. Bear gets excited, like a kid.
