Morning all!
Sorry I didn't check in during the long weekend. I had my nerve burning on Wednesday and have been dealing with the pain from the insertion of the probe sites all weekend. Luckily the doc who is subbing for my pain doc gave me 30 oxycodone to help and boy am I glad he did.
Cooked a 26.5 pound bird for Todd and I on Thursday. I am actually proud of myself. I thought I would overcook or under cook it. But it came out perfect! I picked it clean on Saturday and now I have half in the fridge for eating and the other half is for Christmas so I don't have to cook another turkey!
On Saturday the power went out twice once because of a car accident down the road and the second reason we aren't sure about but it was town-wide. Well the first outage killed our computer so we had to go to Best Buy and get a new one. By the way beware of them.....they will try and sell you "Geek Squad" packages that you don't need. On top of that they have the computers not properly set up so that people who aren't computer savvy will freak out and call them so they will have to pay for that coverage. They also lie and say that a recovery disk is not in the box....which is NOT true. Each computer has a recovery disk. It's just another way to get money out of you. So beware when buying a computer from them.
I had to use that disk in order to properly set up my computer. Jerks! Just want to get the word out about that.
Now I am just tired from staying up to watch the Patriots game. I'm at work today and dragging my behind. Luckily it is very slow. I think it will be this week.
Have a great day everyone!

Heart Hi Everyone~

Sorry I didn't check in over the weekend either. Not much going on here. I did get my yard raked Saturday with the help of two others. Nearly killed me. We didn't get done until after dark and I had worked as a clerk all morning. So I wasn't able to do nothing yesterday, not even church. We are suppose to get snow today.

I am still waiting to hear from my gastro doc about those tests he ran on me last week. I guess he wasn't in Friday or Saturday. I don't feel great either. You all have a good day!

Hugs,
Billie

Hi all,

Shelly, I hope your cold goes away faster than mine is.

Wendy, thank you for the tip on Best Buy.

I'm off to do an intake at the Mental Health clinic in my county to try to save some money from going to a private doctor.

I decided I don't even care for Best Buy at all- the long waits in the return line because of under staffing {or they plan it that way}.

I spent a couple days of the holiday working on my and then my parents computer
got em both fixed though.

My brother had a near heart attack on Wed morning and had to stay in hosp for monitoring - but he got released in time for T-dinner.
he gets more tests results in a couple days.
So now the rest of us are double thinking on our overall health - HA runs on my dads side {mostly the men }
- but so did alcoholism & smoking - none of us have either of those factors.

I sure love our leave blower - so much easier than raking LOL
we use it to clean the roof and blow dust/dirt too
but we are out in the country so it doesn't blow on to neighbors.

Thumbs up Hi Jo~

I have a leaf blower, but the leaves were so heavy, I could only use it to blow them away from house and steps. It took seven hours and we are not quite done yet. The rain has stopped us for now. We think we can use the grass sweaper for whats left.
