Default Which Website is everyone posting to

I was at the newly opened Braintalk wondering where all of you were and thought "well maybe everyone is at the BT2 website". I think the newly opened BT is like the old deleting anyone's post who speaks their mind etc. I like this website better without all the busybody moderators causing trouble. Maybe I'll get deleted off here for saying that.

I apologize girls for not being on here consistently. I've had a bunch of medical tests, colonoscopy, bone scan for osteoporosis, eye appointments appointments for Neurologist, etc. They finally put me on the Duragesic patch which has greatly helped the neuropathy pain. I lived with nonstop pain 24/7 and just got plain fed up and was to the next step of doing something drastic and finally agreed to a 24/7 narcotic. I take medication for depression and probably wouldn't have carried through on the drastuc actuib but that's where my head has been before the pain patch. I was just having no quality of life whatsoever and needed friends but was afraid I'd drag everyone down with me so I haven't posted very much, usually a sign of my state of mind. Many of you haven't known me long so don't know how you would take me when I'm in a sad state of mind. Everyone seems so upbeat on here I feel like sometimes I'm a big drag Anyway I have my head out in the sunshine again and out of the self pity cycle. Thank God for that.

Just wanted to check in and wondered which forum we are posting to both or just this one!!!????

Thanks
Lynn

Hi Lynn,
for myself I post mostly here and sometimes read over there.

Hoping the old posts get saved over there, lots of medical info and research lost for now- hope they can rescue it.

What is your pain from?
{ if you don't mind me asking- I haven't met you before- I don't think}

I'm glad you are finding some relief now and feeling better.

Lynn, I am the same with feeling like a drag and don't post much lately because of it. I check in,(actually I lurk a lot) when down and in pain...which seems to be constant lately.
I like this BT much better than the other one and joined the old BT but have NOT wanted to join in at all. Just signed up in case I wanted to ask a question on the spinal forum. this SP forum is not as active as the other was but I still like it here. Doc Jon was sooooooo nice to provide this one and I am very thankful...even though I do hide sometimes. Gaye

i'm here lynn. staying here.

remember...we offer support. you aren't a drag. it does make people feel good to be able to help. even just a hug or to know somebody heard you. i'm sorry this is a down time for you.

i haven't been posting much...reading reading. the ole back hasn't been so good, so sitting for any length of time isn't much fun. i get to reading the story thread over and over and keep cracking up. it's wonderful.

Thumbs up Just wanted to say Hi~

Lynn, I think I remember you. I post both places, but like this one better. We don't feel as serious as the other one. I don't think our group had it bad tho. Some did with all the stickie's we had to kept "read up" on.

One thing we started up great here and at least half aren't posting now. I don't know what the problem is.I did notice Oct. 3 we had 10 check in on roll call and now it seems only 4 check in. Folks, I don't mean to upset you, but it takes all of us to make a team an support each other. Just read up at the begining, where we introduced ourselves and the high hopes we had to be together again. What has happen? I try to come in everyday and say something. Lynn we do have a nice group and I hope you will stay around and join in. If you have a bad day just say so. Maybe someone will cheer you up.
Hugs,
Billie

Hi everyone, I am staying here at this forum. I see the same ole same ole over there. I didn't register but looked to see if any of our friends had posted. There was a post by ...oh geez, can't remember her name now but she has a mom with alzheimers who she takes care of and when we were still at OBT she had got a pool...anyone remember her? Anyway she had posted there and since I didn't join I couldn't tell her where we are. Can somebody else PM her and let her know about this wonderful home we have here?

None of us should ever feel like we are a drag Ok. We all have good and bad days and I am guilty of not always saying anything when I get down. Usually I will look here and find something funny or just seeing my cyber friends helps. So please everyone join in because the more the merrier.

Speaking of merrier, where is our Jan? Are you OK? I worry about you girl.
I need a cheer to get me on my feet!! ...Sue

Lightbulb Hi Sue~

I have already talked to Karen tonight and gave her our address. Just wanted to let you know. I haven't heard back from her since it was late.
