I thought I'd start Roll Call for the last day of 2007 a little early so to give us all a few extra minutes to reflect on this past year. For some, the passing of the year will be a good thing, for others, both good and bad. But one thing is for sure, the time has passed and there will never be another 2007, A.D.

I started thinking about the traditional New Year's song and looked up its traditional lyrics as well as our English version. I picked the English version over the Scottish because the words are easier to pronounce, especially if any of you plan to have a drinkie-poo or two .

So here are the lyrics to "Auld Lang Syne", and I hope everyone has a really fun New Year's Eve. I have enjoyed a memorable year with you all and look forward to a great '08!

Good morning Alffe, hope you have gotten your coffee by now.

I think I am getting sick, yet don't want to say I am, so maybe I won't be! LOL. Scrathy throat, coughing and nose that runs daily, running faster.
Won't be baking Don a cake due to not being able to follow recipes very well anymore. He will bake his cheesecake probably. He hates talking on a cell phone so I bought him Vonage phone service for a regular phone. Think it will be a good present for him. Still need to buy the phone though...I can't drive anywhere to get the phone for him and my Walmart is out of the one I want. froggie

I'm just getting my coffee. I just don't feel up to par. Maybe the coffee will wake me up! I got up early, just ache all over. I think my phone is going to be ok, it took a charge. Yes it is a cell, the only phone I have, so I got a good one. Actully its all I need, since I am the only one here. Thanks for the advice tho.

There won't be any celebrating here either Curious. I do good just doing anything. Never was a drinker anyway.

I hope you are not getting sick. Have you tried that product created by a teacher - Airborne? My son swears by it. Poor Billie, you are in the same boat. You two are making each other sick! HA HA LOL.

Hubby and I will try to stay up, watching the TV and all the revellers in Vegas and New York. Hmmm, just a decade ago we probably would be going somewhere fun. Now we are content watching others. One year we were watching Salt Lake's celebration and all of a sudden my eldest son and a friend were on camera having a blast. That was fun!

Curious, your night sounds very nice. Alffe - you'd better have that coffee - ha ha. To everyone else - talk at ya next year!
