Happy New Year Billie. We woke up to a beautiful snowfall...at least 6 inches and still coming down. I just came in from filling all the bird feeders and cleaning the bird bath. Those birds just scold me until I get this done. *grin

Yes Alffe, we have snow now too. So far its just a dusting. You can have the deeper stuff. I agree it's pretty, I just don't like winter. I wish I was in a warmer climate. If it wasn't for my pets, think I would have went this winter. The chill factor is suppose to be below zero tonight. It looks like I better get my long johns out.

Happy New Year!

Reporting for New Years weight loss duty. Starting tomorrow I am on the wagon again! So I better get going and eat all of Mom's X-mas cookies and fudge I brought back today. Oh and going to PF Changs for dinner tonight with a friend and her mom who is in from London.

Just gonna unpack and watch college bowl games on TV. Oh and I got to get my right ear unstuck from the plane. Those darn eustachian tubes. Any suggestions?

Was back east and enjoyed the snow here and there, it was pretty . Nothing too deep though.

Happy New Year and

welcome home. i missed you.

get a hand towel wet with HOT water. wrap it around your neck. then get it hot again and press it against your ear.

or using a blow dryer on warm...blowing in your ear.... can help.

this helps to "melt" the wax and "unplug" your ear. take this from a monkey who has had both ear drums burst and did a lot of flying.

I got a voice mail from Gaye's hubby. Gaye is sick with a cold. I'm trying to stay in, to keep from getting one. Its so windy and cold here and the snow is covering the ground now.

I may watch movies this afternoon. I don't care for football. Shelly, it's good you are back with us agan. I missed you too.

Well I was awake most of the evening but got too comfy in my recliner and dozed off right before midnight LOL.
got a rude awakening when dogs started whining and barking because of all the horn honking and gunshots!
So I missed the ball drop and was cranky to boot- husband thought it was funny

Then the dogs wouldn't settle down most of the night, we found out why in the morning.

They had a young raccoon treed right on our patio - so we could watch it til it finally came down. Had to make the dogs come in- and then it took about another 40 minutes to get brave enough to climb down.

The froggie is on the way to that great frog pond in the sky! LOL I really am sick and coughing my head off...of course lots of body pain cause that is normal for me.

Still think the New Year has GOT to be better.
