Arrow Roll Call Thurs. Oct 12~

Good Morning to All~
I got up to a cold house this morning when all of a sudden I happen to think of the relay switch. Went to the basement to check it out & all of a sudden it started up. However it only ran one time. I am wondering what will happen if I try it again. It down in the sixties in this room and not to comfortable. I sure hope I can get ahold of the furnace guy. At least it's not below zero like usual tho. This happens about once a year.

I'm sitting here eating a toastem. Not exactlly diet food. I don't think I want to know how many calories it has. I have to eat to keep me warm this morning. My excerise has went out the window since this pain in my side is hurting so bad. It's going to have to wait till I get this repaired. I am at the point I just can't help it, I may call the GP this morning altho I can't take pain medicines right now. Well I'll have to see then how dad it is.

I hope you all have a good day!

I'm getting ready to go have a mamogram.... aren't we always glad when that is over!!

i'm here.

i hope the repairman comes bc. hopefully it will be just a fuse. sending you warm hugs.

alffe...mamograms are not fun. i am a well endowed woman. being squished is really painful. but ia m regular on getting mine done. self exam once a month. i mentioned it on another thread. i have a group of friends tht i post with. we exam once a month. post the results. if anyone fails to post that day...they get bombarded with emails and sometimes phone calls. it used to be easy to let a month roll past and forget to exam. not anymore!

good morning all, well I had a scary night last night. My daughter came running into the living room at 1am (yes I was still awake wishing I was sleeping) well she heard something at her window and we looked outside and didn't see anything so she figured it was a dream and went back to bed. She immedialtely came running back out saying there was someone at her window so I jumped up again and looked outside in time to see a car driving off with its lights off. So we checked the video camera, I have ex neighbors who have nothing better to do than drive by and throw an egg now and then at my truck and the cameras deter it somewhat. So we replay the tape and see that there were 2 guys out there and they were walking around the garage and by daughters window. Then while we are in the garage looking at the tape they drive by again, and a third time. So I call the cops, hubby grabs gun and we keep an eye on them. Well the cops come but they are already gone so we gave them a description and they said they would be in the neighborhood. So I got almost no sleep last night and today I am sore all over. Oh amd my viscious (sp) watchdogs-- they never barked once and they were in the living room with me right by where these punks were. I don't know about any special treats for them today Hubby stayed up most of the night I think just wishing they would come back so he could catch them in the act. So that was my night and now I am so tired I need a nap at 11:00 am. ...Sue

Sue that was quite a night you had there. I would be scared to death if that were me experiencing this. I've been sorta afraid anywayever since my husband passed. We live out in the counry where there isn't close neighbors. They could overpower a woman pretty easy.

Curious~ That sure is a good way to keep track when to check yourself. I am always glad to get those mamograms done too. I have had ine biospy, don't care for thos either.

Bizi~ No, I am suppose to take Tylenol only. Anytime I am going to have surgery it's like this. The furnace guy did come this morning. I never called my Dr since it took so long to fix it. Think I'll call now.

Hi~
I'm here. Still making all of these wonderful medical appointments. And I just remembered that I have to pick up my new med that the Pharmacy ordered, so good thing I'm checking in.....

Seems everyone's dealing with their own crap in one way or another, doesn't it? Jeesh, the fun just never ends....

SueBabe, that's just plain creepy!! I know that from experience cuz I had window peepers this summer. Of course by the time the cops get here they're always gone. The last time it happened it pi$$ed me off so much--I was SO close to going out the back door with a BB gun to sneak up on them and scaring the bejesus out of them!! What stopped me was the fact that I knew I would do more than SCARE them. They would have slapped assault charges on me when I would have gotten done with them. I'm serious.

BC~
Glad you "fixed" your furnace. It's amazing what you can do when you have to. Again, I know that from experience. Stay warm.

Biz~
Sleep in when you can--I think it's a law...

Big C & Alffe~
Talking about mamo's....I kinda look forward to mine...been a while, ya know??

Gotta get my drugs while I still remember to do it. Oral surgery couldn't be scheduled until November 6th because of the ESI scheduled Oct. 20th and the other Mayo appointments. Does anyone need a tour?
Hugs,
Jan
