You all should know, conclusively, that AMN is the very best friend you could ever hope to know.

Judy

The reason I asked about Ambien is b/c the nights I take it, I eat...seriously! I have found that it makes me hungry! I just switched to Soma, a muscle relaxer for my night time leg pain/spasticity and it has helped a LOT for the sleeping issues I have (not sleeping!!) and I don't need the Ambien anymore! And I have cut down on the night time wake up snacking!

Just thought I would pass that along to you...I know there is some documentation of people eating (sleep eating is what they are calling it) who are on Ambien.... Of course, I am not sleep eating, I am awake. I know exactly what I am doing...I've not taken the CR, just the regular Ambien and only get about 4 hours of sleep on it and wake up hungry!

hey Judy,

Understand your struggle. I have about 30 more to go, and keep going up/down with the same 5 - at a plateau. I know water weight can be good for a few pounds difference, and the days I'm not great with the water, tends to be the days I eat junk too (like right now)!

journaling is great - I should get back to it. It helps too on days you know you have plans, like going out to lunch. you can plan lighter breakfast/snack and same with dinner. sometimes, small rewards can help, like after 3 lbs, can get a magazine I want, 5 lbs, a book, etc...

hopefully will join you on the exercise soon - loved the "dreadmill".

hang in there - you've already accomplished a lot! you have a lot to be proud of, so don't be too hard on yourself.

Heart Cindy/AMN: bail my sister please :)

Hi AMN,

This is NurseNancy's brother. I've joined the forum anticipating my forthcoming role as communnicator to keep the group apprised as Judy moves forward -- if it goes that far.

Trouble is, I joined on her computer. And now her auto login is "disconnected". The forum software is not recognizing her iMac's IP address as belonging to the NurseNancy account.

Can u fix this on your end? ... cos NN doesn't have her forum PW written down or otherwise stored accessibly.

Could be you need to call her w/the pw... She awaits the fix.
