thanks cindy, i'm doing much better.
i caught up on my sleep.
i went to lunch with a friend. we've been friends many yrs, ever since she came to denver from chicago.

i walked.
the only thing i'm not getting a grip on is my eating and i hate it.
but not enuf to stop evidently.
i've been fine today and it's almost time to eat dinner.
and, i will go to bed after my meds.

nothing bad in the house to eat.
my problem isn't eating bad stuff, it's overeating on anything.
but, i know tonite will be good.

don't know what to do.
i mean, i know what to do but my head hasn't been on for months.
i take 2 steps forward and 3 back and i'm not getting ahead and staying there.

only i can turn this around.

I understand what you're feeling, dear Judy. Just keep making that decision as often as necessary. You can do this, you've made it a whole year now without putting a lot back on, so we know that you can lose and maintain. Hang in there and don't give up.

With MS we face extra obstacles and limits that make this more difficult than for the average person. Remember that there are lots of ordinary/active folks who have never been able to accomplish what you have so far. Think about it.

Judy! I too, will not give up on you. Haven't AMN and I been riding this journey w/you (along w/a little help from our friends) Hey, that's from a song, so I stole it!!

TWEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEET! My whistle still works and I aim to keep on using it. I am here to say, you have to stick w/this. Your health and the way you feel ABOUT yourself is of utmost importance.

It's hard... I know! We are all just HUMAN. I myself, fall off the eating healthy wagon alot, but I pick myself back up, B/C I have to.

Keep going forward JUdy. You may stumble, but your'e in company of friends who WUV ya lots. *esp me*

Judy-
I can't remember if you've mentioned it, but are you logging everything you eat and drink? Maybe that would help. Before you can eat something, you have to take the time to find your notebook, and your pen, measure out a portion size, then write it down with some nutritional info (I'm tracking calories, fat, and fiber). I also watched a program yesterday where they mentioned noting your mood as well. That way you can help recognize when you are emotionally (bored, sad, angry, happy) eating. I know that when I write it down, I'm a lot more careful about what I put in my mouth. Maybe it would help?
