hi troops

i already walked and i lost 1lb
a good start to the wk/e

well, i knew there would be some humps once my medicare kicked in with my meds and i've hit 2 already.

i called caremark to reorder my copaxone when i had 12 days left. i gave them all the medicare etc #'s and was told it would be in place by today. NOT!
i called them and the person who entered all the info didn't pass it along somewhere and now i've got 5 days left and they're just doing it today. plus, i was approved for the financial aid. we'll see. i'm calling them monday am and delivery is set for tues. i elevated the call to a supervisor.

then, i've been trying to get my BP med renewed. i'm getting the run around with this. medicare says the dr's office needs to call a # and set up a pre-authorization. the dr's office says they don't do that and the pharmacy doesn't do anything. i've gone back and forth and now will call the dr's office manager soon to try and get this solved. in the meantime the pharmacy sold me 3 pills. that gets me til wed. medicare said i can also set up an overide so if i can't solve this today i'll do that on mon. maybe even get samples from the MD and have to present myself there in person on mon.

errrr. i hate aggravation. and i hate being in the middle.
i'll keep you posted.

be back later.

But, I will ask around before they get here.
You're not going to beat that price, they'll clean up all the brush too. Of course, they'll take the wood and sell it off, but it's all part of the game.

You lost a pound, Judy! Cool!

Good going Judy! You too, Sandy.

I have only one comment about the tree, Sandy. Pine trees are not good for campfires, as in camping. They have so much sap and are not a good hard wood. So, I'm not sure someone would want it for that.

My neighbor just had a pine cut down by the Power Co. as it was close to their lines. They are going to burn it to get rid of it after the needles dry.

Anyway, she was upset too, as it was a pretty tree and the birds loved it.

Sorry about the RX probs Judy! We have Caremark also, and they are sticklers on "the rules". Hope you can get it straightened out sooner than later. I too, get upset when there's a glitch in the system.

Have a good wkend everyone.

Oh, go back into your rolling condo. Sure, it burns fast, but those who sell split wood to their campers are in it for the money. Plus, a pine fire is highly aromatic and lovely. You just need to have plenty of it.

hi guys,

had a good day. had lunch with a friend and a nice visit.
walked before i left the house.
weight stable.

i went over to the leasing office and saw one of the 2BR apt. boy is it nice.
i has 1 1/2 baths. extra closet room. great. and the kitchen is so much bigger.
it also has a little brkfst nook in addition to the dining area.

it would be so nice to have all that extra room. and the 2nd bedroom is a really nice size. i could put my dreadmill and computer etc in there.

the cost will be the real issue. i'm going to go to the office on monday and talk to vickie, the mgr about a price. we'll see.

hope you're having a nice wk/e.

It has to be tempting, Judy, but I know that in my history, every time I've increased my space, I've increased the amount of stuff I just had to have. If you're serious about moving some distance one day, you might want to make that your first consideration. I never meant to acquire so much stuff, it just kind of happened. When I had to move, I had to eliminate a ton of stuff at pennies on the dollar. I wept.

yep, that's a good point cindy.
i've just about talked myself out of it.
to stay another yr with only a $37/mo increase is a darn good deal.

best to keep my expenses as low as possible.
at least i can't acquire another dreadmill

i caught up on my sleep today.
weight stable
still have to walk
keeping up on my PT exercises.

all's quiet here. that's a good thing.

Good Morning Judy! I'm glad the PT is going well.
Moving is a big step, but you'll just have to weigh and measure all the pros and cons to make your decision. Cin's right about the space issue. If you gave me another room, I'd have it filled in no time. I have got to get rid of more stuff myself.

It's a beautiful Spring day here, and just hope one of these days, the weather quits flipflopping. My Sis and her DH will be here by Sat, so I'm pretty hopped up about that. It will be good that she's here for our first Mother's Day w/o our Mother.

Keep doing what your'e doing, Judy> Even a few mins of the Dreadmill is good and the PT in itself, is a workout for ya.

Have a good day and HMHY!

that will be so nice for you DM. i'm very happy you'll be with your sis.

ADVANCE HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY TO EVERYONE WHO'S A MOM.

sandy, i got it. i think it's going to be great but i have to sit on it longer.
i'll also experiment with the triangle thingies. i believe i'll have to pull some out. it's a little too high. it's changing the sit of my recliner and i need more back support. i'll figure it out. thanks again. you're a dear.

please tell folks what it is cause i can't remember.

thankfully i walked this am.
weight stable but i think i may drop in another day or so if i have a good nite.
i did have a good nite last nite, eating wise that is.

i need to look on the + side. that i've lost 25# and kept that off.
my BS's are normal and my BP is very normal.
i'm still haggling trying to get my BP med ok'd by my dr's office.
they're going to try a fax. in the meantime medicare gave me a one month's override so i have some play time now.

and, my copaxone is coming tomorrow. whew. lots of phone calls but all's well.

i've decided to stay in my apt til next yr. best financially. maybe i can cut my expenses even more and save $$ for the move by then. that's a better strategy.

i went to Sears today and got my new microwave. i followed consumer reports and got their recommended best buy; a Kenmore. it's smaller than my old one but has good wattage. i don't need bells and whistles. i mainly just heat food. i'll try it soon for dinner.

so much for my theory that the heat isn't affecting me as much this yr.
it reached 80 today and i was out at 1400. i was so wasted by the time i got home. i know just where my cooling collars are. they're just waiting for me.

see ya's later.
