Judy-
That's so awesome to be off almost all your meds! What an accomplishment. DH and I have been working hard since Oct/Nov. He has about 60# to lose total. I have about the same (we'll see how I feel when I get close)

As of today, I'm down 18 pounds. All I'm doing is walking and eating well. I feel bad for DH because I lose faster than him, but he's working much harder at it (running 3-4 miles/day). I've asked him to start back up with his food log because I think he's eating more than he realizes. I'm making him lunch and dinner every day and I think he's sticking with it, but there's got to be something somewhere that's slowing him down. I did read that beta blockers can slow your metabolism quite a bit, so I'm sure that's not helping him. I hope we can figure it out soon so he doesn't get discouraged.

It's all those coach roaches and gee-dunk machines at work Greta!

Seriously, what do they do when he gets his annual physical? I know when PODH was in the Navy, his physical was a joke...of course, he was a pilot and he didn't want to know much (you know, if they can see your breath on the mirror etc)....I finally made him get a real physical and his cholesterol/trig were sky high! So I knew that he was not eating right.

Anyway, I digress (as usual). I hope both of you can get back on track. I know how hard you've worked!

Ok, Judy! Walking today????

Nah, this is all about encouraging each other to stick to our objectives. In my case, it's about staying in the size 16 jeans, that's good enough for me. In dear Judy's case, it's about getting into some skinny jeans and walking to keep her legs.

In dm's case... well, it's um... I think she... maybe it... uh, it seems that... So! how much is tea in China today???

How goes it this day, dear Judy????

I would like to lose 10-15 lbs right now. I am at my max weight for my height. No teasing, I am serious. My cholesterol is high, trigs high, borderline sugars. Then last doctor appointment? He tells me my liver enzymes are high! UGH You get the picture.

Now, I bought a treadmill last year and an eliptical this year. I swear they will not become clothes hangers!

Today I ate a lunchable. I know, but I only ate the crackers and meat and sipped the juice. No candy, no junk thus far. That is good for me. Objectives are being met.

Thanks Judy for allowing so many of us to travel in your journey.

Oh, waaaah, Sandy! 10-15 lbs.

I outran 40 lbs. last year, but it finally caught back up with me.

Now I'm at the minimum height for my weight. If I had to duck going thru doorways like RiverWild, I'd be just right!!!

Hi Judy!

Hey, I think I may have happened onto the right MB. I see there is a cafe, an MS board and a weight loss forum.

So between your daily inspiration and the other forum I might start back on the treadmill.
