Hey Judy Wudy! Bummer big time about your continual pain. I was hoping the Dr would have something to help. Those air leg massagers do look interesting. I have alot of leg cramping and spasms, so when Judy or Cin try them out, I would like to know what they think.

Well, not much news from me today, so I'll just add that I missed you my lil Oh Inspiring One. Take care of numero uno and keep us posted.

Just wanted to drop in to see how you were going, and to let you know that I'm thinking of you.

Sorry to hear about your pain and the pitting odema after all you've been through, and I'm so pleased it wasn't a DVT. The leg compressors that Sandy mentioned are very similar to the ones we used on all our surgical patients at the hospital I was working in. They were put on pre-op, used during the surgery and only removed when the patient was up and about again. They really do work well to prevent and ease lower limb odema and perioperative DVTs.

I wish you luck with your radiology appointment and forthcoming radiation. I'm sure you know that we'll all be by your side as you go through the treatment.

Gentle hugs....

thanks sandy, i think i'll pass for now til i find out what could be wrong.
i've had edema in my feet before but it was always both, not just one.

and my foot is killing me. it's warm and pink, the circulation is good and the pulses are good tho not as good as in my right foot. the bottom of my foot hurts too and it's harder to walk on it.

thanks for letting me complain.

hello troops,

today has been better. my foot is still pitting but the swelling is down.
and more importantly it doesn't hurt nearly as bad. i have sat with the leg up and it's tolerable. my pcp called after hrs and we talked about it. i have an appt next wk for my labs. she's on call this wk/e and said if something comes up to call her.

i'm still walking tho. i'm determined to keep that up.

i slept so well last noc that i you know what in the bed. thank goodness i had that mattress protector on. i washed everything and i have to make the bed tonite. the longest i can go is about 4 hrs and i slept 5 last noc.

otherwise it's been a relaxing day.
my radiation appt is at 0830 . they changed it from 1000 which was early enuf for me. but it's important so i'll be there. and it's closeby.
i guess they'll do the mapping and tatooing tomorrow. i'll let you know.

thurs is my massage and i'm going to try turning on my stomach.
it will be so much more effective.

hope you're all doing ok.
DM, how are you feeling?

Hey Judy~ Don't worry about me; you have enough on your plate. But, thank you for asking. Glad your'e proceeding in a timely manner w/the radiation and yes, please do call the Dr if your foot isn't better or swells more.

You are our fearless leader here at this thread, so take care of yourself.

Sending hugs and love...........
