Default Monday Roll Call

I always have to remember to take my weekly fosamax before eating anything.

This is day 4 of the diet....I must admit that mashed broccoli was delicious..steamed and then mashed with fat free half and half and then sprayed with I can't believe it's not butter....

Less crabby this morning...still fat.

you ate mashed brocolli? green mush?

i made curry chicken. it's a family comfort food. low fat. filling. i didn't have rice. big salad with lemon juice and black pepper.

i had to go to sam's this morning. so pushing the flat bed with club supplies..that was my morning exercise.

keep up the good work alffe!!

hehehehe..i had to tease you.

i was careful ma'm. i like going early because it open just for business customers. not many people there and they always help me. even take it out to my car.

i really like the fat free half and half. i was really missing the creamy texture when i would use veggie or chicken stock.

i have been using the smart butter. the lat one i bought has the omega 3's in it. in baking, it's just like butter. gives that good smell. the spray non-butter stuff does that too.

so what's for dinner tonight?

chicken salad tonight for us.

Checking in, it's working. Starvation is paying off. 3 lbs!
Yesterday, regular breakfast, went grocery shopping (madhouse), made sloppy joes for DH and his friend. I had one w/milk. Then just nibbled on prunes that I bought.

Stomach's been growling, but getting used to it, and it's ok. I'm 5'8' and weighed 127 lbs before having a baby. I gained too much weight, (he was 8lbs13oz.), then my daughter (9lbs.10oz.). Both huge!!

My body will never be the same, but I'm shooting for 160.

Better weather is ahead, holidays over, no more cookies, all's safe

Take care and don't overdo

Default 15 lbs down but didn't make my goal loss

I know it is supposed to be Monday check in but I can't do it tomorrow so, I'll do it now! So far, in about 34 days, I'm lost 15 lbs mostly on the Nutrisystem program. I had hoped to lose between 15 and 20 in the first month and then 12 to 15 in the second month. I am shy of my goal as you can see ;o( . I will keep going as close to on the program I can muster and time will tell. I have been having some liver-pancreas problems and am waiting for another mri to shed some light on the subject but in the meantime, I'm working towards "downwards" as I fulfill the requierements for bariatric surgery. (barring their not accepting me with whatever they are cooking up for my pancreas dx) Time will tell, as I said. . . .
The mashed coliflower sounds good. I'll have to try it!

The mashed coliflower sounds good. I'll have to try it! I was thinking about how I could MASH the brocoli as it is more fibrous. I do buy a chopped brocoli that is excellent with just a shake of parmesan cheese and a twist of black pepper and cooks fast in the microwave.
