drink up!

that is a good idea gaye. whatever we have to do to remember. it will help you stay full and hydrate you.

to weigh or not to weigh? it's up to you. for some, weighing everyday keeps them on track. if it's up 1 pound...you can keep it from being 2. if you are down a pound, it can really motivate you. for others it can be discouraging.

i prefer to measure. i haven't always been that way. but when i was at my smallest...i wasn't my lightest. i was very lean...and muscle weighs more than fat.

I shoveled the driveway for 45 minutes this morning and have been doing house cleaning. I'll crash tomorrow. But my problem is eating for today. I am so hungry! I am trying to make wise food choices. Thanks guys, your posts give me encouragement!

Default Hello All!

Although my fibro is bad and my neuropathy terrible, I am cheerful because in 9 days, I will have my Spinal Cord Stimulator implanted. I have been waiting since mid-November so I am ready. Once I heal from the implant, then maybe I can start to excercise and loose the weight I gained from staying off my feet as much as possible. Also, Lyrica killed me from the weight standpoint - bad, nasty flab builder.

Take care all!

Hi all,

I had breakfast at 5:30 of oatmeal. And Hot chocolate.

Then with my meds I had water.

I then had a second breakfast at 9:00 of a egg and a diet coke.

I was on my way to Physical therapy, so this was my snack.

I missed lunch, and had a snack, can't remember what I had
I was out running some errands and grabbed something nutrional.

I just finished the Potato soup about 3:00pm, as a late snack,
will have supper later, but it will be lite.

I have had 24 ozs of water. And have been coughing all day.

I was up most of the night, and had lots of water, through
hot chocolate or hot tea, thanks to this cough that wont
stop.
Donna

By the way what about unicorns. Other than my son that is 16
collects them.

Well now I'm really confused. Donna when you named the thread
Day of Unicorns I thought you were trying to tell us something.
And have you tried vicks on your feet...then put your socks on.

Nancy-h you still didn't tell us about the cruise...

And Curious..don't try bay leaves..I failed miserably. Like you, in the past I have used lemon leaves....where does one find lemon leaves in feb. in Indiana?

alffe...call a florist. that is where i always get mine.

they use them in arrangements. they stay green and smell nice.

alffe..i just found this on kraft foods web site:

Using a small clean pastry brush or narrow spatula, carefully coat the undersides of washed and well-dried fresh rose, grape ivy or lemon leaves with a thin layer of chocolate.* Avoid spreading chocolate to very edge of leaves.

i bet you can get soem rose leaves.

forgive me for asking but aren't people going to want to eat your chocolate leaves?
wouldn't a bay leaf taste terrible?
you could jsut use some blue berries or raspberries for color but wonder if you could get those during the winter????
