Hello everyone. It's the evening and I am having a yummy snack. Guess what it is alffe? Almonds! It was a good day, lots of walking, not a lot of eating. One day at a time...

Nancy I hope that SCS works very well for you.
I hate to tell you - but we are going to be having a whole week of nice weather - I hope it warms up for the rest of you in the cold states soon.
I even planted some lettuce and spinach seeds along the edge of the flower bed near the patio

And I mowed the lawn for the first time this year- started first pull too- now that's amazing!
Haven't been eating very diet wise but burning a lot of calories doing chores and clean up outside.

I've forgotten what exactly part of Western Indiana your in FancyLady, but its very cold here close to Lafayette. And I am freezing too. Have been
for a very long time. So I totally understand.

I have to say though, I am really enjoying the rental car I have. I have a
PT cruiser my dream car. I've always wanted one every since I first saw
one. I am just so glad that it was the only thing the rental place could get ahold of a week ago tomorrow when I needed one. Even since I wont be
allowed to have one because my husband says so I will have had the pleasure
of driving one for at least a week.

My son had a magical day on Saturday he took his first friend to a Dance
as he calls her. He was telling me all about the setting, and how he read
to her all about the scenery. It was a Fairy tale area, and she is legally
Blind so it wouldn't have been possible for her to read it. So when they
walked through he read all the words to her. I really enjoyed hearing
this, only because he has trouble reading too.

Her mother was their chaperone, which was great because medically he
has to have a adult at all activities. I'm not positive if she does or not.

Hi Donna,
I'm from western In, not to from Terre Haute. We have another wintery mix coming in tonight. I am so frustated. I did go and buy a new rug steam cleaner today, so I can clean carpets while I can't get out. It does need it so maybe I can work instead of feeling sorry for myself. I need to do something with my energy.

Thanks for the nice message. I enjoyed it.
Billie
