all kidding aside, I went for my quarterly endocrin appt today and I did blood work last week. Tweaking my thryoid meds and Vit D still low as is iron.

But she sat me down and said we have got to get your cholesterol lower and....your sugar and insulin are a little high. She called it metabolic syndrome and a precursor to diabetes which everyone in my family has....

So besides the diet I really have to kick it in high gear the next 6-8 weeks before I go back.

OK, use me for an example folks of what happens when we allow pain to rule our lives and kill our willpower.
