Good Morning Everyone, and how are you doing this day? I am barely up and sure not perking yet. Talked to Benny, but he thinks I am still asleep so he cut me off, if that tells you anything. lol/ I need my morning coffee!
Have no idea how I am doing on diet today. It seems I am carrying water. I have this full filling that I can't get rid of.

Its been a rainy o'le weekend, but not suppose to today. Start back in tonight tho. I am so sick of it. It's not so cold, just wet everywhere. We are gettting 2 more inches starting tonight. I want to send it somewhere else. All our flood water is out again.

Alffe, are you going to paint today? How did the dinner go yesterday? Anything good for you to eat, at ours they are always some diabetic's around, so usually you can eat something safe. I don't have much of a problem.

Hi Billie....the dinner was just great..I love carryins and was so suprised that we didn't have any duplicates....often seven dishes of potato salad or 8 of green bean casserole. They played music from the 30ties and the couple danced! I loved it. Impossible not to eat! LOL

Yes, getting ready to begin again...kind of dreading painting the shutters on the baywindow...three sets of those little suckers...

Yes, I had a virus too, a while back. Mine has the best protection it can have now than I've ever had before. It checks in everything that comes in and lets me know right then. I just love it.

In two weeks we are going to have a carry in again too, Alffe. I'll be taking a boy with me. His Dad is a minister of another church, but he want to go where I go, so they are letting him. I'm glad in many ways for he was starting to rebel. Have fun painting and don't over do.

Just when I thought that everything in my house was done and cleaned I decided to paint one more room. The bright yellow walls in the room with the new green carpet now looks horrible so it's getting new paint today. I am sooooo excited. It really needs it.

Gotta run. Painter will be here in an hour. I'll try to jump back in later.

Good morning All

Woke up to hear Don on the phone with our daughter. Our neighbor that has been sick passed away during the night. I was just talking to him last week out in the yard and he was fine. Life can change so quickly. Sure feel for his wife, children, and grands. His daughter is our daughters friend.

Alffe - I have a cute story about shutters. My dad was a mail carrier but with 7 kids, always worked a 2nd job. He started his own family run painting business when I was a teen. The 3 brothers closest to my age, therefore, had built in jobs while I had to find my jobs and that stuck in my stubborn craw. So, after a day of hounding my father, he agreed to let me paint but I had to start from the bottom like the boys did so I could learn. I agreed. So I show up on Saturday morning in my painter's whites including my, "Harry's Painting" shirt ready to go. Dad led me into the garage and pointed to the biggest stack of shutters I have ever seen. I scraped and sanded until my fingers were raw and after the 2nd day, I quit. I never even painted one drop! LOL Years later when I got my first house, I got my lessons and Dad and I worked together painting every room.

I wish my body would allow me to get on a ladder and paint or even do shutters!! But, right now that's not in the cards so I can enjoy watching instead. Good luck on all your projects, Alffe. I bet you are very good at them.

Billie - What is the name of the program you have now for protecting your computer? I feel really bad for Bizi!

Froggie - So sorry about your neighbor. You are so right, one never knows what is in store for us each day. I really try to enjoy every day and give smiles to those who pass by me. I can be kind of a smart aleck so I have to work on that - I need to be kinder to everyone. It's always good to have goals, I say.
