 Folks, I am so sick. I am going to have to call and see if I can get out of going to see my patient today. Not a not good idea for him to be exposed to me right now. I have never called in sick before. This cold is full blown now and has move into chest area. I guess I should have went to the doctor. I hope the rest of you are okay. Bizi, how are you doing today?  If I was any worse I couldn't even be up! Lets stay positive on our diets, if possible. I am having a time of it right now. Mostly eating fruits.  Stay strong and post when you can. Hugs, Billie

Billie did you feel that earthquake this morning? Our bed "quivered" for what seemed like a minute or two.
I'm sorry you are sick..get some Mucinex for your chest..it's good stuff. I've lost another pound and am really glad as I'm having an insurance physical on Tues and she'll weigh me. nancy-h...what are you reading?

Yes, Alffe, I felt the earthquake shortly after I posted this morning. I was thinking, I hate to live in this trailer by myself, when I turned the tv on and they said it was a 5.4 quake. We do live on the fault line here, but don't experience this very often. it scares me.
I have found a home that looks very nice for my new family. I have told Benny but haven't talked to him yet. He posted offline that he would IM me at 10:00 am. I haven't got to see it yet tho but its not very old. I'd rather not get it without him seeing it. He is suspose to be here in 3 weeks. I can't hardly believe it. If I would only get to feeling better.

How large will you're new family be Billie...are his children young enough that you'll feel like you are starting over? Glad he isn't going overseas again...such changes for you....I hope you feel better soon!

Alffle he only has a 14 yr old daughter and he wants to bring his Mother too, for she will be up in Wisconsin without family, with daughter with us. I don't mind. I am around older people all the time in Hospice care. She is 85. I want her to spend time with her family. We are Chistians and I think we can get along.

Checking in late today....
Got back from an inservice on diabetes. It is incredible the new information and meds and insulin types and pumps that are available in this day and age. They have a device that actually sensors your blood sugar levels thru out the day and records this and the info can be reported electronically to your doc office. Pretty soon the sensor and the pump will work automatically to deliver the correct dose of insulin thru out the day...which is an amazing concept! anyway, had a buffet for lunch and over ate. Good Alffe that you lost another pound!!!!! remember one pound is 4 sticks of butter! bizi

Billie, so sorry you are so sick...please go to the doc as soon as possible. Also maybe don't cut your food so low right now to gain back your health. Know you want to be skinny for the man but he will like what he sees anyway! Hugs, froggie

Billie,
Keep up with the soups, hot teas, broth and Vitamin C Might be best to wait until they all arrive before getting a new place - they would probably like to help pick it out. And the schools will need to be checked out for the daughter. It is fun to look isn't it? - you can send them pictures and links to the ones you like. I've been looking for a place for one of our boys to buy around here- i love the websites that have lots of photos or the virtual tours. Have you spoken or IM'd with his daughter and mother too?
