Moving slowwwwww today but still moving!
Went to church and today was seniors day so they catered a meal for us. It was very good. Left there and went about 45 minutes away to the Nursing Home to visit Bill, a fellow there that is 65, blind, retarted, and very very hard of hearing. What a wonderful day...really love him so much and he loves Don and I. My daughter works there and we fell in love with Bill. I take him p-nuts and coke. He lovem!
For some reason my legs are so fatiqued...they as a heavy as lead and I am having to use my rollater to walk. They ache too, yuck! Maybe tomorrow will be better. Sure hope so. froggie

Hello everyone, still doing good on the healthy eating and I feel so much better. Not all bogged down and tired.

My favorite snack is still the hot air popcorn with the butter flavored spray. Too bad I like kool aid with it I did make some sun tea though so I will stick with that.

Have not weighed lately, I am waiting for a few days but the pants I just bought were really loose on me

So thats it from my neck of the woods...ha ha no woods around here...Sue

I really found out how out of shape I am today..
We did a home project that needed many 5 gal buckets of rock & sand- to make cement.
In 2004 I could fill & carry those same buckets on and off for hrs- but today I really felt in right away that I was not as strong. My arms, neck & lower back are gonna be sore tonite - probably tomorrow too.

Plus we live on a hillside so up & down the yard all day - my legs got tired & I was winded too

Me thinks too much time on the computer all winter

I have to get my strength back and tone up!
I don't like feeling so wimpy.

But I burned a lot of calories though
and worked up a sweat- it was a beautiful warm day.

Jo poison ivy can be killed right at the start with bleacn. Yopu spred it on carefully on the places (before you scratch) and off it goes. We used to use it all the time. Sure hope yours goes away soon.

Still not eating as well as I shoudl but still getting there slowly.
Can hardly walk today due to back and funky leg pain. UGH! Losing weight would sure help....woe is me...alas I think I will never reach the point of weight loss. At lease healty eating goal will be better than what I have done in the past.

home with a snotty nose coughing gradnmonkey today. post office has to wait.

alffe, my x used to get poison ivy if he even walked near it. me..i could roll around in it and never get it.

what helped the best for itch, was rubbing ambisol or oral gel on it. numbs it right up.

also taking benadryl.

only hugging your non itchy parts.

We just have Poison oak on the west coast.

I don't get it but hubby does - we had a billy goat once that we had to chase down and catch to give it away- he got poison oak all over that time plus black berry scratches LOL.

We still have a few small spots of Poison oak left in our woods- I spray it every few years so it doesn't spread.

I hope you don't mind me butting in here but I was telling Alffe about my poison ivy in my yard. I have all this English Ivy in my yard and in between it is poison ivy. I had someone take out all the ivy a couple years ago, even the English, and had them kill all the poison ivy. But now it's back. I get it so bad that I get it in my eyes if the wind is blowing the wrong way. I look like a monster and have to have a z-pack of steroids to get rid of it. Now I wear these funny goggles when I get anywhere near it. But you know what works, funny as it seems, is a banana peel. It's real soothing and you can even put it on your eyelids if you have it there, which I have many times. Feel better soon Alffe
