Jo I love the new way the forum is going! This will be so much easier to keep up with and now anyone can post easier anytime. I often don't bother when I come in in the evenings, cause I know the thread will start over for the new day and what I write probably want be seen anyway.

This is great too...cause maybe now I will be soooooooo embarrased to be just posting with no change in my eating. Hugs, froggie

Forgot to mention I am worling on my eating. Hubby and I have been talking alot about our habbits and lack of GOOD eating habbits. May not lose for a while, yet nutritional value should go up and junk is going down!

you are on the right track gaye. good nutrition. your body will use it as fuel and burn up the calores and fat. junk...well it just turns to fat. your body doesn't know what else to do with it.

choose healthy snacks. most of those pre-packaged 100 calories snacks have little nutrition. i full cup of chopped apple...only 65 calories.

HIgh Fructose corn syrup is very fattening....IMO causes us to store fat.
It is used in alot of foods these days, look for it in foods...you would be surprised how much it is used....
sodas use it and this is one reason to switch to diet drinks.

Lack of proper sleep or poor sleep -
there has been talk of that recently - having something to do with difficulty loosing weight.
I'll go with that
I get up at 2am to make hubbys lunch and send him off to work at 3am - so my sleep is broke up because of that and I'm awake enough then that I watch TV for an hour or so before I can get back to sleep.
I'm able to get about two 4 hr sessions of sleep - but I'm not sure if I'm getting the deep REM sleep or not. I guess I am or I would be tired during the day. But maybe the REM part has nothing to do with the weight loss factor:

Dorrie, so glad little Saffire is over her sickness and very sorry you caught it! Get well real quick. Had 4 kids and babysat most of my young married life and I know just how hard it is to take care of little ones, when you like the dickens! many hugs.
Started out good today, ate egg and 1 toast no butter. Drank decalf with my fiber...hee hee...must have the fiber.
Worked in the yard putting out fire ant killer on the stupid "**** ants" pronunced **** anint's, here in the south! LOL Course my back is screaming, but it was so nice to go out and get the things. froggie
