Ok I have no excuses now! Had a bowl of South Beach cereal w/blueberries for breakfast. Am going to the Irish Pub for lunch with a friend from church...what to eat what to eat??? Irish Stew? Shepherds Pie? Bangers & Mash? corned beef samich?......LOL!!

OK, my time has come and the writing is on the wall. I weigh so much (for my body) I can hardly get out of bed or my chair anymore. Losing will definately help my problems, yet will NOT cure them though....so starting Monday I will be getting on the bandwagon for sure. Just hope this new try will work for me. I have tried so many times...lost ...gained and gained and gained. Now I weigh 244 as of yesterday and after eating at Pekings resturant yesterday, I'm positive I weigh at least a lb more today.
Going to join WW this time and will have a friend from church that will pick me up on her way to the meeting. You all know I am a SB person, yet fail to stay on it and hard to feed Don too, so maybe WW will offer a better program for us both to eat. Can I do it...I sure don't know, yet I DO KNOW I have to do something or else be sitting flat of my butt forever in pain. BLA!!!! Another friend said she would help me figure the points, when I am cooking something that does not list the ingredients. Due to my brain damage it is impossible for me to do stuff like that, or even try new recipes without help. Ha...can't read and comprehend what they are saying...get all the directions mixed up. I'll also try to start posting my meals again and maybe those of you that know WW can tell me when I am doing something wrong. Want hurt my feelings...I am used to having to have help to think! LOL Plan on taking it easy and not hurring (sp?), slow consistant loss will be fine for me. I have always tried to lose fast and then I screw up the whole thing and end up quiting. First goal will be too hopefully see myself halfway back to 200 lbs. From there IF I make it, then will make a goal to reach 200 etc. Can't wait to start I feel so left out on the forum...after all it is about healthy eating and losing and I have been doing neither! Heres hoping, froggie Billie, I am still going to write you today. |

Slow and steady & just making better food choices each day is the best way.
I'm keeping the junk food out of the house and adding in more fruit, veggies, simple meals & water {or a 50/50 water/juice blend }and adding more activities. Can't wait for the greens from our garden!

It is just pouring down here and I can't go walking. Well, I went for a short one this morning, but not enough to call it exercising. I hope I don't get cut off while typing. I am so sick of this rain. You can't even walk outside for the puddles when it does stop raining. We don't miss many days of this. Gaye I had your correct email addy, so I don't know why you aren't getting mine. I sent you 3 yesterday, if you didn't get them, something is wrong. It looks like we may have to PM awhile. Sorry, to hear you can't hardly get around. I can tell you, if you eat out, it is harder to diet. At home I have to do what Jo does. I just can't buy some things or I will eat it. I spent a lot on fresh fruits. Strawberries, at the present time. That is my treat and NO sugar. You have to be strict about these things OR you won't lose. Be determine and pray for Gods help. I'll join you in prayer for this. Girls, I still have a lot to lose. By no means am I a Skinny Minnie! It does take a lot of deacation (sp). Just get back on that horse and try again. Every pound lost, gives you strength to try for more. Stay strong! Hugs, Billie

Well I have been doing pretty good on my end...hee hee my big end
Then today was daughters last day of school (she is graduating high school) so we went to Ruby Tuesdays and had steak, mashed potatos, and steamed broccoli, oh and a crab cake. Hey the veggies were good LOL I ate so much I am stuffed. It was a 7oz steak but with the crab cake and mashed potatos I over ate. I will ride an extra 10 minutes on the bike today to try to work it off. But tomorrow is another day...Hi everyone...Sue

Hi all,
I am eating healthy and I'm not sure why I'm not losing weight. I'm not sure what is up either with my doctors, I got a interesting phone message that I have to call back and find out what it means. But its very odd, for some reason I seem to have some appointments being made by one of my doctor's that I haven't heard about yet. Hmmm, seems the pulmonary in Indy has heard, but I haven't. They seem to think I already have had them done or started, now this is scarey. Heehee. But other than that, I'm feeling better being on a healthy diet. And I bought a fancy smoothie blender, and my son's like it to make shakes. No I'm not making shakes, I'm making my smoothies with fruites. Donna |
