Hey feeling goofy!!!!
Welcome....
glad to see you and congratulations about making the decision to join us here!
That is the great thing!
take a look around and you may some familiar faces....
I found some low calorie high fiber bread and tortillas to use for sandwiches and wraps, and like koshi high fiber cereal and also use a combination of diet products...like slim fast optima shakes, south beach bars and lunch boxes when they are on sale.
With you working as much as you do...are you able to get some exercise into your day?
This would help get you jump started in feeling better and more in control.
A friend of mine has lost a lot of weight using a low carb, veggies and moderate protein diet and has lost ALOT of weight.
That is how I took off the majority of my weight 5 years ago. I was 50 pounds heavier.
I found a picture of that period in time and showed it to my hubby....
know what he said....
Who is that?
I said "me".....
It is amazing how easily it is to pick up extra weight and how hard it is to try to take it off.
did not mean to ramble ...jsut wanted to welcome you and encourage you.
((((HUGS))))

Hi gals,
I don't get around to posting here as often as I'd like to.
Now that the weather is getting chillier I have to limit my typing/computer postures a bit more.

and i haven't been doing anything very pro active on the food front.

I read the menopause post- yep- darn cortisol- I'm sure it's a factor with the chronic conditions, the comp claim , quitting work ect.

not to mention having 4 kids - must add to belly fat LOL

I remember when we were there in Lousiana several years ago and you sent some low carb stuff home with us. Most of it was pretty good!!! LOL
Its so easy to let those few extra pounds sneak up on us. then a few more, then a few more.... my problem is the salt.... i LOVE salty stuf.... and thats what i have to stop eating... my BP is way to high.... thats why i chose to go with the healthy heart diet. its low in sodium.... Its not going to be easy...
