thanks DM. don't feel bad about complaining.
there's no reason you need to be positive about pain.

well, i did go to the dr today. and i guess 09 isn't starting out to be stable and boring.

*my breast is still infected. she's starting me back on Keflex, for how long i don't remember.

*i still have my yeast infection and she's going to con't to tx that, especially since i have to go back on antibx.

*i have an internal bleeding hemorrhoid and i'm going to take suppositories for that.

*she sent me for x-rays for my coccyx pain and it showed "an abnormality".
so she's going to set up a bone scan for me. she said it might be arthritis OR it might be bone cancer but that is a slimmer chance.

i might need your prayers again. NO CANCER this year. NONE.
we're going to try soma for my muscle pain. hope something helps.
i'm tired now. i'm going to sleep.

Prayers going right up Judy. I am so sorry. Sometimes I wish docs would just not say anything and send you for the test first. My MIL had a spot on her bones too and they thought cancer. We had to take her to see an oncologost and he said it was from a previous injury and nothing. I pray the same for you.

i got up and out this am.
i did grocery shopping and errands.
came home and took the meds including the soma. boy did that knock me out. i took a nice nap.

i do have to say that the tight spot in my back is loosened. maybe this med will really work for me. i just need to get past the knockout punch. does anyone else take Soma? what's your reaction?

tomorrow i'm in. guess i'll watch a playoff game. i'm rooting for the chargers to lose. their quarterback, Rivers?, was very rude to us when he played us in denver. that's why i hope they don't win. hope i'm not insulting any chargers fans.

how are you guys? what are you doing for the wk/e?

soma's can pack a powerful punch but oh are they ever good .... my personal experience with them is that they are worth their weight in gold .... the power punch should lessen once your body adjusts to them .... i wish i could get my doctor here to give me soma as they worked great at relieving my back pain ...

We're snowed in Judy. We got about 7-8 inches of white fluff. I snow blowed the front driveway and then shoved the back walkway to the shed. Jim needs that exit in case of a fire. Good exercise though right? I think of that each time. I am still at my 10 lb loss. No gain, no more loss. It fluctuates a few pounds but I am Ok with that. I need new jeans! Whoohoo! I still think the ulcer was most of the reason for the loss. We'll see if I gain it back once the ulcer is healed. The Nexium is working I think.

Judy! I hope your Soma adjusts so it doesn't make you tired.

i'm glad your med is working for you sandy.
and thumbs up on the 10lbs. that's a great wt loss no matter the cause.

i stayed in today.
my housekeeper came, thankfully.

tues i go for the bone scan. i have to be there at 1200 for a 1230 injection.
then i have to come back at 1530 for the scan. i think i'll just take my scooter and stay at the hospital. get some lunch and read. there's no point in going home and driving back. it'll be a long day. and i'll have to drive back in rush hr traffic. all in all i'm not real happy about this.

but i'll be glad when it's over and the results are negative. i should find out by the end of the wk, i'd think.

good luck with your bone scan tomorrow Judy .... i am praying that all turns out good for you ... let us know how it all goes ... and how is the breast infection coming ... is the antibiotic helping? i use to get really nasty yeast infections every time the doctor put me on an antibiotic .... then he told me to eat yogurt while on the antibiotic ... haven't had a yeast infection the last 3 times on antibiotics (knock on wood" i would have a cup of vanilla yogurt each morning while on the medicine .... it might help

sandy ... i can't wait until i can say i need new jeans ...

dm ... good luck with your DS test today .... i hope they go ok ... let us know how it all turns out ok? ... do you still have the earache ? if you do i hope it's getting better, not worse ...

today is ok for me ... being a slug at the moment but will have to get moving around soon as i have laundry to do and i also have to go to the store .... oh and we are currently under blizzard warnings .... joy joy and still more joy ...
