Hello dear Judy! WOW, I miss a couple of days and the whole bottom falls out! You know that I'll be saying extra prayers for you that your scan is negative. It will be!! It will be!!!!

DS had his test this a.m. and of course, they couldn't find the order from the Dr, so had to wait an extra hr; poor DS was miserable. Hopefully, we'll get the results in a couple of days.

Hello everyone else and hope your'e not looking at what I am~ more freakin snow! I need a change of scenery!!!! :(

Take care all and let us know how things go Judy dear!!:hug::hug::hug:

NurseNancy 01-12-2009 07:38 PM

it snowed a bit here today so i stayed in.
my dr's office called and they want to run another test.
since i had the labs done on fri and they only hold the blood for 48hrs, i need to go back tomorrow and get another draw. ugh.

thankfully the bldgs are attached and after i get the injection i'll go to the other bldg and get the labs. then i'll eat and read and go back for the test.

i hope my scooter batteries last. this is a very convoluted place. i'd hate to get stuck somewhere, but i do have my cellphone.

DM 01-12-2009 08:13 PM

Good luck tomorrow Judy! You are always in my thoughts and prayers.

SandyC 01-12-2009 08:50 PM

Good luck Judy! I'll be praying for you.

Holy cow! I wander off for a couple days and look at all this carp!

Judy, you have a cell phone?!?!?!

Praying and hoping for your wellness, dear Judy, you know that it's an ongoing project with me. ;)

Hi, all you other people. :Wave-Hello:

Hey, DM. http://www.futurelooks.com/forums/im...ilies/slap.gif

NurseNancy 01-13-2009 09:55 PM

well, this whole thing this wk has been aggravating.
the office told me to go to this certain bldg and check in. i did that, got my scooter out and went in. i was in the wrong bldg.

had to reload and go back to the hosp and do it all again, 30" late.
had the injection. went to lunch, read the paper and visited the gift shop. i found a funky red, white and brown giraffe like print bag, vinyl. only $40. great shoulder strap and it stays put. and they had some vanilla shea butter cream for you hands. also got a few cards.

then went back for the scan. they did a full body.
in my travels to the bathroom i stumbled upon medical records. so i filled out their form and they'll mail me a copy of the scan and x-ray for my files. i might hear the results by friday.

then the receptionist calls this am and tells me the dr wanted one other lab test she didn't order. since the blood was drawn on fri and they only keep it 48 hrs, i have to go back to the hospital to her office for another draw on thurs. this is not a hop skip and a jump. it's 18 miles RT and a pain in the ***. this is very annoying.

on top of her not giving me 3 of the 4 Rx's we talked about. i had to go back to the pharmacy 3 times to get all the meds.

i'm really loosing my patience. she needs to get her ducks in a row. i know it's a new office, new hospital, new everything and it's hard for them. but i'm the one that's suffering. i'm going to talk to them about this when i go back on thurs.

came home and i'm beat. tomorrow i have my 6mo skin check.
thurs i'm taking a friend to the airport and have to go back to the dr.
and fri i have my massage. oy. too much to do.

DM 01-14-2009 10:20 AM

Oy Vey is right Judy dear!! What a runaround!! Your day sounded like a big pain in the **** for you, but at least you rewarded yourself w/a new chic bag. That's my girl!!

Keep us posted on your test results; and I'm thinking positive, healing thoughts for you right now.

Oh AMN???

Judy, you really are busy! My mom said this is the hardest part of her recovery, that they want you to come in so often. It's hard for her since she doesn't drive anymore and has to get rides. My prayers are going up that your results are negative for anything.

NurseNancy 01-14-2009 05:51 PM

thanks guys.
the dermo took something off my back for biopsy but i'm sure it'll be nothing.
gosh, i had these tests and then waiting for results.

i ran a few errands and am home to rest. tomorrow will be busy. but the wk/e looks quiet.

hope you're all doing ok. sandy, how's your tummy?
DM, how's your son?
did you get accepted in australia yet? oh JULIO?????
