Happy Valentines day everyone! We're having a low key day and remembering those who lost their lives a year ago at NIU.

Jim's doing good and trying to keep his pain to a level he can tolerate. The spasms and tightness are miserable for him.

Unfortunately, it snowed last night and our grass is gone again. Spring is not in the air but it's not arctic so it's OK.

I ordered a dozen of chocolate dipped strawberries for Jim and I and they messed up the order and sent a fruit basket. lol Do you think their trying to tell us something?

Have a good day everyone and I pray your pain is at a low.

PS: I posted a thread in Women's Health on checking the girls daily.

Oh and DM? Your slogan ideas are funny too! This is going to be fun! Very creative people around here.

thanks sox. hey, that could be my new moniker. like there's a jappy, nappy etc. i could be juggy??????

sandy, i think that's a definite message from above. but not one little piece of chocolate at all? i'm glad jim's holding steady but i'm really sorry about his muscles. i can't imagine how hard that must be. i feel for him.

i went to brkfst with a friend, jan. we used to work together. she likes to detox and tell me about all the carp going on there. and i like to listen. takes me back to the days.

otherwise i'm home. going to do things around here and be up as much as i can til the evg. then maybe i can tolerate sitting. i was already hurting in the booth and we were only there a couple of hrs.

HAVE A NICE VALENTINE'S DAY TROOPS.
HUGS AND KISSES TO EVERYONE

Judy, your not going to believe this. When I received an email stating they couldn't send the chocolate strawberries I called and asked what they were sending. The man on the phone had no idea since it still showed I was getting the strawberries. I even had a tracking number. Anyway, I hung up and then the doorbell rings. It's a local florist handing me a fruit basket with the card reading "Happy Valentine's Day to us" From, me to you. I had bought the gift to Jim and I since we really don't celebrate the holiday like the young people.

Anyway, I called the vendor back and told them I received a fruit basket and not the strawberries and they offered a refund. I said thank you and hung up after laughing with the guy over a fruit basket with crackers and summer sausage not being as romantic as chocolate strawberries.

A little while later I walked into the kitchen and saw a box sitting outside on the deck. It was the strawberries! I was thinking "Wow, they really messed this order up!" So, I called them back and told them the strawberries showed up and now I have them and a fruit basket. I told them I felt we should go ahead and pay for the strawberries and to charge my cc. The lady said not to worry about it and enjoy both gifts. I said I thought we should pay even though it was a mix up. She said again to not worry about it, there was nothing they could do at that point.

So, what should have cost $66 including shipping ended up costing $0. A hefty fruit basket and chocolate strawberries. Happy Valentines Day to us eh?

Hi Judy & crew, feelin' poopy in MI this week. I managed to get myself exposed to public school germs (the very worst) on Friday night and my throat thinks it wants to be sore.

The real hit in this parade is the IVSM combined with mega doses of Zanaflex, which together, make me feel like a zombie. It doesn't happen often to me but I literally spent the whole weekend in my bed. Talk about boring, maybe I need porn on the ceiling.

Just had my first night of the normal dose of Z and woke with the raging spasms again. Ugh.

Yes, yes, my friends, I do recognize the danger in exposing you all to this kind of excitement. Try to breathe and remember that this is not happening to you.

Good Morning Judy dear and everyone else!!

I have been so busy, wish you were here Judy, you wouldn't get bored!! Today I am taking MIL for a bone density scan, as the Oncologist is putting her on hormone pills for a month to try and stabilize her ca. The tumor is huge and already in her nodes under her arm. The med can harm her bones, so it's just a protocol thing for the scan. She had a Petscan Sat, so we'll know more soon. With her advanced Alzheimer's, brain surg in Dec, heart attack and the ca, it's just not a good situation.

Anyway, then on Thurs, I have to take DS for his gastro recheck, as he's still having pain. It's just been one of those Winters!!!!

Glad you got out w/Jan and got to catch up on the scoop! That's always fun! I am meeting my girlfriend's for dinner Wed night, so that will be fun.
Sandy~~ wowee~ you got a good deal there, but don't feel bad, it wasn't your mixup. Hope the goodies were ''good''.

Well, take care Judy~ you are doing great w/your walking and I'm proud of you.

Have a good day everyone and is Spring ever going to get here and STAY????

Note to Sox~ Your ''juggy'' comment ka racked me up!!!
