what have you guys been up to this wk/e?

i stayed in but i'm going out tomorrow.
have to go grocery shopping this wk and do errands.
this wk/e is the wedding. my friend came over and we decided on what i'm going to wear.

i've got a black skirt with white embroidery all over it. i'm going to wear a white cotton lace top and tank and black patent ballet flats. no heels for me.

fri i'm staying home. it's amazing how much planning i'm doing just to go to Temple/brunch saturday and the wedding sun nite. it's big for me anyway.
i hope my conservation of energy etc will work out.

i went to run some errands today.
i went into office max to buy an address book and ended up with a glass desk from sharper image for my computer. i've been needing a desk for a long time. mine is very uncomfortable.

and it has the pull out for the keyboard. it's really nice. good thing i have a lot of windex on hand. i talked them into taking my old desk out which they normally wouldn't do. heck, for a sale why not?

there's no way i can put it together and i don't know anyone who can. so, i have the # of a bonded and insured comp they work with who will do it. except it costs more $$. but, i have to.

now i need a couple of new dining chairs as mine (not too old) are falling apart.

and, CINDY...you need to com'on over. my lamp won't work, at all

i better not go out tomorrow as i might spend more $$
otherwise...weight stable and walking.

Uh, Judy, did you check the bulb?? Is there a wall switch controlling that outlet? Did you try it in a different plug? Did I put a cord switch on that one? It might just need a click at the post switch. Make sure everything on the outside is tight.

The underwriter's knot may have come loose, if you take it to Home Depot or Ace Hardware, some nice guy will retie it for you for nothing. Oh, wait, that lamp had to be totally disassembled, didn't it? Go make a friend at one of those stores and ask for anyone who moonlights to rewire lamps. 9'll get ya' ten, nothing is wrong with the wire, just the second-rate job of rewiring it!

Before you junk those chairs, missy, tip them over and check the joints' hardware; sometimes it just needs to be tightened down again. Do each corner a little at a time to preserve the alignment.

Put down that junk food and do it now! And yes, you CAN put the desk together, read the directions!

sounds like a lot going on Judy...weight stable is good! I have only lost
one more pound so its going slower as I knew it would.

Its kid central at my house, so not too much time on the computer for me.

We just made homemade icecream with ziploc bags, rock salt , ice , cream,
and sugar....it only took 5 minutes of shaking...easy peasy and the kids
had fun!

Rock on with your badselves!!!!

LOL Sox!

Nothing major going on here. Weight is stable but trying to fight the urge to buy M&M's. Why do they have to taste so good? Nik and I were out digging up dirt for Jim's new pond. That should take a few pounds off! I walked about 12 wheel barrels of dirt to the back of the shed today and didn't even make a dent in the pile. LOL

Pretty soon our Cindy will be walking and walking and walking with her new Bot! You'll have to upload a video of yourself Cindy so we can all marvel at you!

Judy, hope everything gets fixed for you!

hi guys. i decided to stay in today.
it's just too hot. i went out yesterday and paid the price the whole afternoon/evg. i was dead.

my copaxone is coming today and i have to sign for it. it's already 1330 and nothing yet. so, i ordered groceries to be delievered. i was down to nothing. no lettuce, no fruit etc. i'm going to miss that when i go to FL. bet they don't do that down there.

i'm going to take a nap. the sawing, drilling, hammering is con't. there was a big water leak in the lobby ceiling last wk with all the rain and now they're fixing the inside and they roof. i can't wait for 1830 to come. that's when they stop. OY!

tomorrow is my massage. boy, it seems like that was yesterday.
take care all. glad you're doing well.

hey, how's DM?

had my massage today. i knew i was tight but didn't realize how bad.
she ended up giving me some extra time. she spend almost a whole hr just on my legs and lower back.

i came home and went to bed and finally my muscles stopped twitching.
i'm glad i have nothing but a haircut tomorrow so i can rest before the wk/e.

what are you guys up to?

Holding steady here, breathing freely in skinny-girl shorts. A little looser would be nice so I'm going to keep pushing for it.

My sister is here for a couple days to work on estate stuff and she has been doing a lot of little favors for me. This morning I found my canvas pants and clean dust ruffle ironed and neatly folded, lying upon my magically-made bed! Yippee! I must remember to do lots of laundry right before she comes next time.
