I will fess up and add that thusfar my weightloss has been brought about by having a horrible ulcer, and now a stomach virus that has been going around work! but I intend to keep on going!

The Monkey's here!

I have lost weight. I'm still wanting to lose 10-15lbs. It depends on how I feel and how my clothes fit.

Height 5'5"
Weight 155 ( I was 154 this morning, but that can change )
BMI 25.8 I need to get this to 18.5 -24.9 That is a healthy BMI

I can calculate your BMI for you. Either post your height and weight here or PM me.

this is tough for me. and my weight doesn't make me very happy.
i've had a wt problem all my life since about 9. i'm 59 now.

last yr, or was it the yr before? ... i lost 40 lbs. BP and diabetes much better.
then i gained back 20 and that's pretty much been where i am for a long time.
however, i've kept the 20 off. i go up and down 4-5 lbs like a yo, yo.

i just don't seem very committed.
so i don't know how much i'll participate because i already feel like a failure.
it seems no amount of love, encouragement or knowledge about eating will change my behavior.

i KNOW what to do. i've done it before.
sorry to end on such a note but i just don't feel very positive right now.
what a new year party pooper i am.

Can I join you guys?

I started the day after Christmas. I really need to lose some weight. My blood pressure keeps going high and I know it's my weight.

I started at 175 and I'm at 173 now.
I did 5 miles of walking on the treadmill today.

Thanks. I need to have others to talk to when I'm down. Someone to high five with when I've lost.

My husband supports me ALWAYS, when I try to lose. He was there with me all the way when I lost 50 lbs 4 yrs ago. He always helps me stay on track. Yet, it has gotten harder for me to TRY. When I don't see results, I tend to give up easy anymore.

I think it will be easier with having you guys to help me.
I sooooo don't want to have to go on meds for my blood pressure.
