I was 172 this morning. Woke up with a crick in my neck. Trying to make myself get on the treadmill anyway.

I'm sorry you are feeling crummy, Dorrie.

I didn't get on the treadmill today. Well, that's not true. I did get on the treadmill. Made it about a minute. Rain is coming in and it's killing my muscles.

My hubby made me feel guilty. He wanted me to go cut firewood with him.
I finally gave in, even though I felt like I would do nothing but lay in the truck seat.

I finally started working and felt so much better for it. I'm tired now. I'm sure I'll pay for it, yet I got a great upper body work out.

Oh, I was 171.5 this morning.

Thumbs up

No change is better than a gain.

It takes time.

Drink your water. Move around as much as you can.

We WILL do this!!!

I've been pretty much a shut-in since the leaves fell. BUT! Talked it over with my boys and they are to remind Daddy to get outside each day.

I've tried my share of diets. No plan or set of restrictions has worked. What does work for me is physical activity. So I'm outside with the cane and walker and walking and stuff.

And working with the dumbells again. (No. That is not code for my sons. HA!) The best fat burner is muscle. At least for me it is.

Have to buy new scales, too.

Yeah. It's funny. A fat dude with broken scales. Who didn't see that one?

hehe Moose, glad to see you around!! hugssssss

hugss all, I didnt weigh in already, I usually wait and do it weekly, but maybe i will check in morning.

I have been eating pretty good, gotta get a bit better,
right now on prednisone for about a week, trying it as I am having so much trouble with numbness from waist on down to toes...then if lay down feel it in arms, and legs and all...

Anyhow, glad we have this, as it will help me, I did also go try on jeans..cause I only have one pair that are truely fit well...yes I am one of those,...I dont want to buy something right now in this size!! also NOT a shopper...I am a football watching girl...not a shopper..

well, I walked yesterday a bit, today, played a lot of Wii bowling..and really throw as if bowling for real when I do it...so that is more moving.

I move a LOT at my job, but I imagine body gets used to what it does daily. I manage a McDonald's so always on feet and flying around fast.

hugss all, sarah we can do it!!

Hi all, I'm Donna Some know me, some don't. But don't let that stop
you from getting to know me.

I've been working on losing weight with this group for a while. I'm just
not really getting anywhere. Still stuck at the lose of the 10 lbs and
not going anywhere. But then life just will one day help with more I'm
sure. I have a few health issues that aren't helping right now. So I'm
just going to keep working on losing and know that when I can have the
surgery on my gallbladder. And find out if my thyroid is working right.

And get some other things resolved it will help. I also have to get
back to my exercise routine, but I'm really looking for a exercise buddy
too. I have a place, I just am not working with myself well. And
I need to use the pool more for my issues with my bones.

So life will get better.

Now to get to the orthopaedic doctor monday and some other things.

And to continue the dieting and drinking water. Then to get the other
issues.

Life just throws the curve balls.

Donna
