In the store, back when I could go out, I used to find myself looking over my shoulder when I was at the bakery counter, to see if anyone saw me. I felt that guilty. I can't really do the scale. I weighed myself some weeks ago because I have a web page about what I'm doing to lose weight, and I thought I probably should show whether or not I've actually lost any ... I tend to think I'm deluding myself when I think I've lost weight. I also tend to think I can gain the whole 22 pounds back in less than 24 hours. I'm not at all rational in the way I feel about it. I put a lot of affirmation type quotes on the page... and after I've read them all I feel better. I should read them every day, but I read them only about once a week. I was doing quite well by looking at pictures of clothes... like on-line catalogs. Imagining myself smaller was good. But the STUPID stress is just unending. (I don't have any talent or experience with not letting it get to me.) and now I haven't looked at the pictures or imagined myself smaller in WEEKS. Oh... you know... I began doing just the tiniest bit of walking, as opposed to no movement and nearly 24/7 in bed... and I think that made a difference. I'm sorry I write so much. Did you ever hear of Serrapeptase? I think it was helping with the pain, the pain in my back. But... once there's a lot of stress I just get totally weirded out and fail to do things... for one thing, it's hard for me to keep straight what I'm supposed to be doing, even though I have my computer remind me... Again... sorry to write such a long thing....

Good for you.
I'd suggest that there aren't really any magic or quick fix supplements, drinks, pills etc. Great area for bogus claims. From what I've gathered the only way is to make sure that your diet is nutritionally sound, so that what you eat is good not bad for you. This is actually harder to do than you might think as the food industry, including recommended diets from the government, are biased towards making money and your health is not their concern. Every wondered why maize is heavily subsidised, yet fruit and veg aren't? You really need to do some reading from independent people. So many food tests are paid for my manufacturers that you can't really beleive anything in the media. Have a look at the Weston Price Foundation. It would be nice if we could just eat what we like and take a fat pill to control our weight-we'd all do that. But you have to learn what foods and drinks are your enemies. Start with soft drinks, sugar in any form, rice, pasta, bread, processed foods, most grains. Get some allergy tests done if you can. You must get the gut healthy first, then eat well on a daily basis, and never go on a short term diet-they always result in a weight gain. Take it slowly, keep up the water. It's easy to lose weight if you stop drinking water, but you just become dehydrated. Weight loss should be very gradual. Maintain a nutritious diet and don't starve yourself as you will become ill if you do. Good luck. Slow and steady!!!

You need to make a lifestyle change like I did. Lost over 100 lbs. Didn't gain the weight overnight and didn't lose it overnight. But I did lose it. I eat a plant based diet, nothing processed, no sugar, etc. Common sense. I also sprout my own seeds in my kitchen. Look up Benefits of sprouting. You'll be amazed and you'll get healthy AND LOSE WEIGHT. Best of luck Melody
