Getting Muscle Tone

Megs,

My step-daughter's best friend is a personal trainer so I ran your issue past her and guess what she suggested? That you get a personal trainer. HA! A fibro moment. I don't remember talking to you about physical therapy but if your insurance covers it, that would be one consideration. Yoga classes, (which I used to love but can no longer handle) would be another and you can probably get self help Yoga books/videos from your friendly home town library. :p

I am so happy that you are in remission! That is great news.

QUESTION FOR EVERYONE: WHY DO THEY CALL "WEIGHT LOSS" WHEN WE FIND UNWANTED POUNDS?

Hugs and skinny kisses to all,

What's everybody doing to loose weight?

Hi Jan, Megs. Gaye, Lynn, Nancy and Consider this,
Not a peep out of you all today. What is going on. Actually it is a beautiful day outside and I don't blame you.I am in good shape today, yesterday I wasn't.

Are we going on a virtual walk tomorrow or wait till Monday. Even If it is a short walk that is better than none. I can't walk long either, but doc said t walk, so I am starting tonight outside. Nice little strole around my beach. ha I want to loose at least 30 more pounds. How about the rest of you?
Blessings,
Billie:)

I'm here and so far so good I haven't done to badly today. Doc put me on Welbutrin (generic) so I will see how that goes. Gave me some hydrocodone too. Thank goodness! She said the wellbutrin doesn't cause weight gain so maybe it will be OK. Wonder if it could actually help me losehimmmmmm?

Billie, i'm glad you're better today! Enjoy that walk.

Hi back, Lynn52!

Love the cheer, slogo!

I did have a much better day today, I was way more hopeful... and I think I woke up my metabolism. :D

Go Slogo, Go!

Hi everyone,
I'm sitting here eating some Chex Mix. I wonder how many calorlies the pk. has? I went to town today for my first outing and got some ice cream. Low cal, ok. I've got to learn portion size all over again.

People says I have lost weight, but I doubt it. I was discouraged last timeI weighed. I want to be active and I just can't. The pain starts up. dread Monday. Going to an invasive surgeon. I looked it up and still don't know.

Gaye that's good cheering, maybe you should be our new head cheerleader. I couldn't write something like that at all. Does anyone know if we are still called Babe's?

Well I need to pick up some things. Having some company soon. They won't stay long, so I can come back after supper.
Hugs,
Billie:)

Heck Yes!

Billie;

Once a Babe, always a Babe. And to the newcomers, (who we LOVE having :p ) all you have to do to become a Babe (or a Dude if you are male and can handle a thread with so many Babes!) is to join in. Oh, and ANYONE can start the daily Roll Call. I guess the early bird gets the call  .

Billie - Chex Mix is my very favorite snack food but I don't know how many calories either. Probably a lot. Everything I like has a lot.

Gaye - Great Cheer. Did you have your Pom Poms going while you wrote to give you encouragement?

Consider This - Thx for the hugs. I needed some.

Lynners and Megs - I was/am 5'8" and weighed 105 when I was dating my husband. In college, I bought clothing in the girls section, size 14-16 girls. Now I'm 14-16 (mainly 16) in womens. But it was hard being so thin. I know what it's like Megs. But 130 is perfect - good girl.

Gotta go - nap time...
