Default I gained 5 pounds! how??!!

I am already at the upper limit of what I consider acceptable. I eat a very healthy diet, and the hard winter has been brutal to find ways to get and stay active. I have been feeling quite stretched in my jeans lately, and admit, I have been wearing my elastic waist pants. They are stylish and comfy, but dont help you keep an eye on that waistline. I popped on my jeans yesterday, and ...had to really stretch to button them! I stepped on the scale and there it was...5 full pounds! How??!! I havent changed my diet. I have been out of bed more. I have been working hard to get up, and stay up. I am crushed. My weight goes up one pound or down one pound, and to see a full 5 riding on me! ACK!

What can I do to wiggle this 5 back off of me? I must be increasing my portions since getting up and out of bed. I think I need to restart a food journal. You would know that I am going to visit out of state inlaws this weekend. perfect timing!

boo hoo waaaah!

It has been a rough and weird winter.
Could some of it be water weight?

I don't know of any trick to get 5 off by the weekend.
Only if some is water weight or bloating.

basic things -
up your water intake to help flush any excess out of your system
try to add more activities to burn calories
make portions smaller or use smaller size plates & bowls

I need to implement my own suggestions too

Do you have a Target close?

They have a knockoff of Spanx. Honestly..they suck you in all right places. You will look like you lost that weight.

Good fix for this weekend.

Start Monday on losing the 5 lbs?

I think I am just gonna suck it up, and show up in all my fluffy glory. I think some was (whispers) constipation, and some was just larger portions. I dont know if I can zip my jeans and have them look as good as they normally do by tomorrow afternoon, but if not, I have some nice loose pants that will look just great. I am going to take my big girl pill, and show up with a smile on. Hopefully they will want to see my face faster than they want to point out my backside.

Thanks for the suggestions.
