I thought surely someone would have started the foruam up by now. I've got a million things to do. I got a guy coming anytime now to help around the house. It is a beautiful day here today. We are having a spell of unreal warm weather here in Indiana. I have a place where water sits and I don't want it too. That's what I am going to work at getting rid of this afternoon. I guess the cement isn't level or something...

Hope you are doing the directing and not the work. Both jobs can be exhausting so I hope you took care of yourself. In fact, it seems like you are doing soooo much better since you had that last surgery. You are happier and stronger. I am so happy for you as you suffered terribly both mentally and physically for quite a while. You deserve this.

Yes Nancy, I am at peace. I have come to the place where I have to except what I can't change. I do have knee problems tho. It is difficult for me to stand more than ten minutes without a numb thigh and a sore knee. The knee thing bothers me at night after I am off of it.

I am going to ask my surgeon about it next Thurs. He don't do this, but I am sure he would recommend a Dr that is good at it. It is an Ortho Hospital. I don't want anything until later after the bad weather is over, for it is far away, for winter.

I messed around with a Dr. close to home and it didn't pay. He operated on it and I didn't learn a thing, except it was painful. At least I agained a Cryo Cuff out of it so I could ice it down. I spend many of hours hurting in the night. Nothing makes it better for long. Something must be wrong with it for it will soon be a year since I had surgery on it.

Where is everybody? Everyone must be getting ready for Christmas or cleaning. I need to do that. Come in and post if you read this. We do miss you!

Hi Billie and Nancy. Nice to see you both. Billie, I hope you can get your knee fixed.

I stayed inside all day today and mostly stayed in bed. The phone woke me up early this morning and I haven't gotten decent sleep since. Plus I was feeling down.

Hi yall,

I just don't get to be online much to post anymore. Things are so down hill with my mother in laws Alzhimers. They put her on hospice today and she is in the den right now telling my husband we don't have any heat in this place. She is so lost I wish I could do something to help her.

I am still waiting to hear about seeing a surgeon, it has been four weeks now. I am having more numbness in my leg that is not going away when I rest like it did before.
Ofcourse not being able to get around I'm not losing any weight.

I can idenfy with alzhimers diease. My Mother had it, and you need a much needed rest from it. Won't you consider your mother in law being in a nursing home? It is robbing you from a normal life. I do hate to see this happen. You are young yet and need to have more going on your lives. People just don't understand do they? Someone shoud be releaving you so the two of you, could do more in your lives.
There is a life behond this. You must be a wonderful care giver, that she has done well, this far. Let me tell you it gets worse. My mom got to the point she could not talk and finally couldn't eat very good, next she couldn't even take medicine. You may think, it gets better but it don't. By then, they don't even want to get out of bed and you don't know what they want. They are like a vegetable. It does grieve me to think about it.
I do think you need help of some kind. I hope and pray, you can have a nice Christmas. I put my mom in the nursing home on Christmas eve day. That's how desperate we were.

befuddled2~ I hope things went ok for you today. You do sound like your down too. I will say a prayer for you both tonight. I'm just tired every night. I hope we all can survived it threw the Holidays!
