Default Rollcall Saturday 9-16

Good Morning all!
It's going to be a beautiful day in the neighborhood today, despite the thunderstorms last night. (I had a 3 year old and a cat sleeping on top of me cuz of the thunder....yeah, it was a short night......hehehe)

First of all, I want to welcome the new kiddies--and I hope I don't miss anyone! If I do, someone PLEASE let me know, k? What little memory I had went South with the 400mg Topamax/day.

VL~
How are the headaches? I hope they have been behaving for ya!! Man, those migraines suck!!! We "talked" on the Headache form on BT a few times.

Congrats on your weightloss!! It's tough to KEEP it off, isn't it? I think I've lost about 200 pounds in my life---I just always found them again, dang it! The docs always say the yo-yo thing isn't good. Why can't I just yo?

UN~
Good to "see" you again Linda! I read you a lot on BT, well, I think I lurked you more, but that sounds kinda strange...... hehehe

I also wanna know Junie's key! I think we ALL do, so GIVE IT UP GIRL!! I hear ya about the 30 pounds too! They just sneak up on ya, and *POW* all of the sudden they're there! Why don't they sneak down on ya that way? Maybe because we don't pay that much attention and weigh ourselves faithfully? I dunno. All I know is that I need to get back on track, and I need some help.....

Liz~
YOU ROCK!! I mean, 82 pounds? Congrats lady! I also know Weight Watchers works. I lost 60 pounds in 1983. I found it again when I quit the program. Please don't do what I did!

I think this is the "YO" thing again.

I know everything has changed at WW, so you can bring a wealth of information to the group! Lots of ideas, suggestions, and recipies (of course within legal boundries) to help everyone, if you would be so kind!

I think I got everyone---for now, didn't I?

Before I forget, could everyone that introduced themselves on the rollcall thread copy and paste it on the "An Introduction Thread" ? That would be great cuz I'm asking DocJohn to please make it a stickie. (It will always be at the top of the forum.) That way everyone here, and the new ones coming in will know a little bit about everyone. It will all be on one thread then and easy to find, so we can add to or change at any time we feel necessary.

One more thing before I get to rollcall. (I know, sorry, I tend to ramble.....) If anyone has low calorie recipies (sorry, I don't right now) or substitutions--like the applesauce in the brownies someone had--could you please start a thread for it? That way it will all be together too. I'm drawing a blank right now (go figure) for helpful hints/ideas (like freezing the grapes) to start another thread. That way that would be together. I just think things would be easy to find then. Just some ideas.....

ROLLCALL!!

I ate two chocolate chip cookies! My daughter went to a garage sale that offered baked items, and of course couldn't walk away without a dozen of them. Could have been worse--could have been the whole dozen!!!!!

BUT--Big C--YOU inspired me. I AM going to walk today! I figured if you can walk around your garden a little bit after being bed-ridden for two years, it's the least I can do. (Do I have this right? I usually get stories only half-right...)

Anyway, the rest of the day is gonna be quiet. Hailey went home, but is coming back to sleep with "Dramma" again tomorrow. I need to rest up today!!

I hope everyone has a great "D" (Diet) & "E" (Exercise) day! Stop on in and let us know what's happening in your little corner of the world!!!

WE CAN DO THIS!!

Take care!
Hugs,
Jan aka HC

Default I'm here and it's only 84 degrees!

Good day to everyone! I live in Nevada, 90 miles north of Vegas. We are having a few days of early colder weather with the temps in the 80's - perfect for the pool. And this morning it was only 60 and we left the windows and doors open for a few hours. I know I'm too excited about this but this summer has been so hot to me. My Neuropathy does not like 118 degrees.

My feet haven't reached the level of joy in my head as they are burning up today. Time for the ice bags.

I woke up this morning at 6:00 a.m. to the sound of loud and vile language. My husband made coffee and forgot to put the POT UNDER THE DRIP. So once I had the mess cleaned up (he had to leave), I was wide awake at 6:30! I hate mornings. When I was working, my DH had a license plate holder make with "I don't do mornings" on it. Probably alerted more than one driver to be careful behind me.

Gotta fold clothes...
