Hi folks~
Thanks for all the kind things you have said about me. First of all, I am not well. I have the Flu and haven't been able to rest properly. We are setting up for the sale. Mostly I'm in the house laying on the floor unless someone needs me. I have been sick since Tuesday and expecting company Sunday afternoon thru Christmas. I did have a flu shot too.

I hope the rest of you don't get sick during the holidays. It is spoiling things for me. Worse yet I have to go to Indianapolis today to the Dr. for xray's to see if I'm fusing. I hope all is good news there. I sure didn't take it easy after that surgery. I thought I might feel better today, but I don't. I can't even sleep good. Takecare.

I'm so sorry you aren't feeling well Billie...why are you on the floor? I hope someone is going to Indianapolis with you. Awful to be sick anytime of the yr. but at Christmas especially. warm hugs (((Billie)))

This post did not appear until after I started a new one.

This home has most of the furniture out of it as I don't live there anymore. It does however have carpeting and I was laying down trying to stay quiet, as I am sick at my stomach.

i had the flu last winter. pheumonia 2x. is it a stomach thing you have? with the flu you won't have tummy troubles unless it's from the sinus drainage. yuk huh?

i hope today will be better for you.

i have a foggy brain this morning. so i know i am missing people. i am the only non sick person here. my daughter flies in late late saturday night. but if everyone is still sick..then i can't go get my folks for christmas. i can' risk them getting sick.

that lemon cookies reciepe sounds really interesting ...do they turn out like cake what does the topping do..is it mostly an oil based "food"?????

bizi...they are like chewy lemon cookies. reminds me of those lemon bars. the cookies get kinda cracked crnkled looking. oh...the cake mix...you don't make it like cake batter. use it dry. dry cake mix...the egg and the whopped topping...

I feel much better tonight. It just took it's time leaving. My Dr said I am doing ok healing in thew back too. He took some xrays~ No flectation yet, it's to earily yet. I am glad to get the good news. Now to get on with Christmas, the auction and the last closing on my farm place. I may trade cars after the new year. I am wanting a SUV, but might change my mind. They are a little pricey, & they tell me they use a lot of gas. It's on the back burner for now.

i'm so gld you are feeling bit better billie. i'm sure you feel starved. i always do. then eat mexican food and start it up again. i'll learn someday.

we have a suburban...gas guzzeler. hubby drives that. i have a tiny mazda. 10 gallon tank. i can drive all month on it. sometimes 2!
