thanks carol.
i am relieved. another good decision for me. it helped to do all the research.

the only thing that annoys me is that not one of my drs offered advice, info or offered to help me find a place to go that could do it.

again, the adage that you're your own best advocate is true.

I totally agree with you. My GP is someone who listens, offers advice and is willing to discuss options. I NEVER blindly do what any doctor tells me without discussion, explanation and my own research. Same for medication - I want the whole story from the doctor, the pharmacist and sometimes Google.

Doctors are human just like the rest of us and as a friend likes to say: remember, half of them graduated in the bottom half of their class. (although I expect/hope that med school has pretty high standards)
