Hi hows everybody this morning? I'm sore all over from stiches needing to come out, tomorrow is the big day! I am usually the earily bird of the day and start the morning off. I have been up a long time today. Sorry I can't put pictures on like Jan does, but I did find one for today if you'd like to chick on & see it.

I slept pretty well but am having a horrible side effect from a new med my urologist gave me - DRY MOUTH! Any suggestions on how to make this better? It's horrible.

Will be a lovely day in the 80's today. There is snow north of us - UGH!!!

Talk about weird weather--we dodged a tornado last night! Jeesh, it was 30 miles from here! It was 80 yesterday, and 56 today..... man, make up MY mind!!!

Holy Moly Rocky--2 miles already? Good for you! You know, I think I'm gonna start doing that....do my half hour walk right away and get it over with. (oh geesh, sorry that sounds so negative) But until I get back into the swing of things, I think I need to do that. Thanks for the idea!

That's a SUPER idea about budgeting your calories for the party too. I used to do that years ago. Another good idea! Keep them coming, and thanks!

My meds give me dry mouth too. It really sucks--especially since one side effect of dry mouth is dental decay! (Talk about a vicious circle!) I just got done replacing all of my crowns, and I have three teeth decaying under crowns that were replaced two years ago. They had root canals too---can you say MONEY?????

Sorry, got sidetracked. I use Biotene antibacterial dry mouth gum and AquaDrops hydrating mints lozenges for my dry mouth. I get them both at my local drug store. I used to get the AquaDrops at Kmart, but the last time they no longer carried them.

Hi everybody, Jan we called the guys "hunks" and it fit them very well. Been a busy morning here. Making the kidlets do some yard work and ya think we were asking them to lop off a finger or too. Why is it when they want to run and play they are fine but ask them to pick up dog poo and suddenly they are so sick they might not make it through the day I need to make Friday afternoon chore day so they will have to do their chores before the weekend plans.

I have been making a better effort to eat right since we have all come back together. It really helps to have a support base and know that others are having the same problems with food. I too am a big carb nut. I love pretzels bagels and bread stuff but I have been good and stayed away from most of it. Well I better get off this thing and referee the kids...Sue

Hello everyone
I had to go to a wedding shower today and was late since dil to be did not tell me the time so I was late! Then I was offered all these goodies loaded with sugar (that I was barely able to turn down) so I got out as soon as possible!
I am wore out, had very llittle to eat yesterday and today but some meat and fruit! Hope everyone has a good day!!

Just got back from a 2 hr visit to see hubby's sister. Both of us are glad to be home. Dog and bird were both sooooooooo happy we are back. Zoe want be so happy when she finds out mama has a bath plannd for her! LOL

I got up this morning and again thought of you guys and went outside and walked around my garden before throwing out my coffee grounds.

I thought of you all. I'm sorry I didn't post earlier.

I also did the things I've been wanting to do: I moved a few plants, and I painted one side of two shelves.

I am so sure I have more energy because of you all believing we can lose weight.
