Default Depo-Provera injection

Ok, this is a woman's issue.

I came off this last Spring/Summer - due to new guidance brought out saying that studies had shown loss of bone density (obviously not good for someone who only weight-bears during transfers).

I've heard some horror stories from people about when their periods came back (in terms of heaviness etc) - has anyone had any good experiences?

(I'm hoping that as I'm a few years older now, my body will have decided that getting up in the night every 2 hours just isn't practical ).
