How severe is the pain? Sometimes if its not that severe then its nothing to serious however if the pain is that bad i would go see a doctor. It def does not have anything to do with your tampon like you said that would not give you pelvic pain. When was the last time that you got a pap smear done? If its been a while I would suggest you go just to make sure everything is ok.
