Default one thing on top of another

hello

i have been on spinal disorders forum for other reasons
when finding this site
and although responses have been dwindling i have
mentioned i discovered a lump at 3:00 on right breast
it needs to be removed after 8 x-ray films then sonogram
the doctor was kind and assuring because i have my mamos every year since age 39 outcome should be great
i decided to come on one last time for this reason
men and women please check yourselves
i was the one that felt it, even though, for the first time i
put my yearly mamo on the back burner only by 4 months
for other medical reasons
point, i felt it and took action right away
i will want the lump removed and depending on results
worst case i'll remove both breasts
drastic, maybe, can't have that over my head
i stood in front of the mirror and put my hands over my breasts
wondering this is what it would be like
serving its purpose
fed four children
and lovers who enjoyed them
and then when i went to the hospital
it hit me out of nowhere, the idea, what i was
getting ready being checked for
it was hard but must be done
my maternal grandmother died of BC
my youngest sister had her nodes removed
under her right arm, and had a lump extracted
i ran into a high school guy friend yesterday
complimenting how good i looked under the circumstances
and said "sorry with everything that's going on"
i said, "thanks, but i am exactly where i'm supposed to be"
be responsible, do check yourself, early findings
are what preventive care is what can save lives

wishing best outcome for all

Default thank you

Thank you for reminding me how important it is to have the Breast exam. I have had so many surgeries and spinal fusions over the last few years, that I have ignored this one exam. I have been seeing three specialists, and my life revolves around them. I cannot ignor this test anymore and must fit it in to my list of to dos for my medical safety. A dentist is another thing I have not fit into my life. so many things pile up that you forget to take care of some of the other important issues. thanks again for this post. ginnie
