Default birth control pills and cataract of the eyes

I had my eyes checked yesterday because all of the problems I have ( dizziness, blurry vision when I bend my neck down , cervical spondylosis ) and my dr didn't say anything when I was there ( I'm so upset about this !! ) but when I went online today ( the doctor's site ) to read the after visit summary, there is it :" I noted on your exam today that you have the first signs of cataract formation. " of course I called the office right a way, and of course still waiting for the dr. to call me back .
Anyone had this connection ? BCP and cataract ?

No, can't say that I've heard of that.

I took BC pills MANY yrs ago and probably 15 yrs ago an eye doc said my eyes were cloudy...I've done nothing. I use eye formula supps and KNOW the grape seed extract I'm taking for going on 20 yrs soon, keeps my eyes healthier...I'm going to be 77.

There are many eye supports we can use to help our eyes overall.

As far as I can see from a PubMed search, if anything oral contraceptive use is mildly protective against cataracts.
