Hope someone can help. I was hit by a car two weeks ago. Had surgery to put in a metal pin in hip. Have had a foley since. They have tried twice to remove foley. I am not ambulatory. I stand and do rehab and have begun walking. It's painful and will take time.
Tonight they are doing another trial to take out foley. I am so scared I will never per normally again. I am all alone here. Alan can't come. He has a foot ulcer. I phoned his urologist, told him of my fears and he told me to tell them to give me flomax at night till I am peeing on my own. I don't know if this is stress due to being hit by a car, being in rehab etc. Has anyone else had this happen to them? What happens when they release me? Can they send me home with a foley? What happens to people in my situatioase help me Melody UPDATE. thank god I peed. I was so scared..let's hope it continues.
