About 6 months ago, I had my 2nd mammogram. I Had the 2nd one done to update my chart as I had changed due to a breast reduction last May. Before my GP could call me, the radiologist at our hospital called to set up a routine ultrasound. I was a little worried but the worry increased when she only did the ultrasound on the right side! Sure enough my GP told me afterwards that they had found a lump on my breast. He said that at this point it was no danger to me but I would require yearly mammograms to monitor any changes....he sid something about liquid and solid...one is ok one is not ok???? The lump is very there. I feel it and it actually hurts some days. I am just a little worried about myself. Has anyone else had this happen? I have not asked the doc but I do wonder why they just don't get rid of it so that it does not become "bad" Need some advice, PLEASE!!
